TV Review: Rock the Cradle

Lucy Walsh won the competition last night. She scored the highest with the judges so she has immunity from elimination.

Lil Al B Sure was off key. A lot.

Jesse Blaze Snider had stage presence, confidence, ripped abs (which he proudly displayed via an unzipped shirt) and charisma. He lacked the ability to maintain his pitch. But he sure looked hot up there!

Lara Johnston could have potential with improved vocal ability and a little more spunk.

Akeiba Hammer sounds as if she has great range and control over her pitch and timbre. Unfortunately, she too, chose a song that was too high for her.

Landon Brown is quite an attractive man. He missed several notes but looked so good doing it that I think Americans will keep him around for a while.

I wondered why these contestants did not receive honest critiques from their parents about the songs they chose. Any of them could have done very well had they selected a song within their vocal range. Perhaps next week they will be less nervous and we'll hear a better selection of songs.

The judges are: Belinda Carlisle of the Go-Gos, Jamie King, choreographer (the stage presence judge), June Ambrose (the style/image judge), and Larry Rudolph (the overall performance judge). The host is Ryan Devlin.

The judges have given immunity to the person they rated the highest, Lucy Walsh. The viewing audience must now call, go to the website, or send a text message to vote for who they want to stay. The person with the fewest votes will be sent home next week.

This series premiered April 3 at 10 pm but has been replayed at least three times since.

Rock the Cradle is produced by FreemantleMedia North America, with George Moll, David Goffin, and Larry Rudolph serving as executive producers.

so tell me if none of them are not any good why does one of them deserve a record contract.
FYI. Lucy walsh had one and was dropped from her label several months ago. Ridiculous
This is not at all entertaining.
And shouldn't Bobby Brown be promoting his book in which he trashed whitney and blamed her for all his addictions. He woulda rather been smoking crack than watching his kid at this show. What a loser!!!!!!

The Hills?! How DARE MTV air a show about MUSIC?! LOL

Of course the bare chested boi is the crown favorite, as well as the bleach blonde slut. When the real talent is Lara and Chloe-- if they can get over their nerves and technical problems. I predict those 2 girls will shine

Crosby Loggins does indeed have natural talent and an amazing CD that was released last Fall to rave reviews. Check it out and you'll be a fan, I promise!
