The title of the second encore selection was something like “Non Tapa,” as best as I could gather. There was some spirited talking nearby when she announced it, so I may have that wrong. It began as a slow, methodic piece heavy on strings, morphed into a wailing rock-desert music fusion, with the last couple minutes becoming a controlled frenzy of voice and instruments that was so reminiscent of the Middle Eastern desert tribal music that I lived amongst so many years ago. Haale’s powerful voice easily carried above the frenzied finale. The instruments were in a coexistence with her voice, melding into an exciting, luxurious conclusion. I can clearly see why the fan requesting it did so. Even though I may not have caught the name correctly, the tune is unforgettable.

The sound of this group is a unique sound, professional, melodic and perfectly blended. It’s a performance that should not be missed. If you’re after cookie-cutter, don’t go. If you’re after a wonderful, enjoyable evening of Haale’s special brand of music, you will not be disappointed. You can find her tour schedule on her website.
