Blogcritics Goes Greek for a Giveway

Back in sixth grade, oh so many years ago, I learned the Greek alphabet. I was, sadly, absent the day we started being taught it, but I caught up soon enough. To this day - and Mrs. Warthol would be quite pleased by this - I still know it. Years later I was old enough to hear that iconic phrase, "Thank you, sir, may I have another?"

You see, in my world, Greek things just keep popping up. I always appreciated the names of the Greek gods more than the Roman ones. I always liked Greek food (there's this place called Lefteris in Westchester County, best food you ever had), Greek wine, and togas. That's right, togas.

I've come to realize an important fact, and maybe you've figured it out already. Be it the alphabet, Animal House, or the best damn souvlaki this side of Athens, it's all Greek to me. (Long way to go for a joke, right? The end was totally worth it though.)

And what's more, now it can be all Greek to you! Blogcritics Magazine is getting together with the family (ABC Family) to promote the return of the popular show, Greek! What does "getting together" mean? Why, we're going to give you stuff just as soon as I tell you that Greek airs on ABC Family Monday nights at 8 and focuses on this swell family and the life adjustments it makes with their kids in college and dealing with fraternity/sorority (i.e., Greek) life. That's right, it started this past week, but I'm sure you can catch up if you tune in this coming week without a problem.

So, the prizes I was telling you about. There's going to be one Grand Prize Winner, and they'll receive: 1 Greek - Chapter One (aka Season One) DVD set, 1 Greek T-shirt, 1 Greek Frisbee, 1 Greek Drink Koozie, and 1 Greek Poster (see, it really will be all Greek to that winner). Then, there are going to be four Runners-Up, and they'll each receive the Greek - Chapter One (aka Season One) DVD set (which means it'll be all Greek to them for about 445 minutes plus bonus features).

Makes you kinda yearn for a gyro, don't it?

Anyway, the rules and one last reminder to watch Greek on ABC Family Monday nights at 8…
