Huge update this week on the PSN, coming swiftly on the heels of the slightly obscure 2.17 firmware update. Let's get PAIN out of the way first as I am not a huge fan of this flavor of DLC, we have two new characters and themes for each.

On the Add-on front we see an expansion for the fun RC racing gaming Toy Home. Very quick turnaround on this expansion, and it is fairly substantial at that. We have, of course, new Rock Band songs, and this time they are ones no one has heard of. We also see the FREE Dropkick Murphy's Track Pack for Guitar Hero III, free is always good so enjoy those downloads.

On the demo front we have a demo for Major League Baseball 2K8 on the PS3 and Wipeout Pulse for the PSP. I am psyched to try the new Wipeout and I am sure many people want to compare Major League Baseball 2K8 to MLB 08 so both demos are greatly appreciated.

In the video corner we have videos for Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds and Viking: Battle for Asgard. We also see themes and media for Condemned 2: Bloodshot and God of War: Chains of Olympus (on top of the PAIN material).

This is a great update from Sony and one I would like to see repeated weekly.

Toy Home Expansion Pack ($6.99)
The Toy Home Expansion Pack adds even more racing fun to the miniature universe. This pack includes 6 new vehicles and 2 new playrooms, each with 3 separate configurations. Players will now be able to engage in 4-player battle both offline and online and check out their rankings online. Also included are a new set of courses in the single player mode and a free-run mode.
