BIGGEST LOSER IS RIGGED!!!

I AM A BIOCHEMIST AND KNOW NOW THAT BIGGEST LOSER IS RIGGED. THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS AT WHICH MANY VARIABLES CAN BE TWEAKED WHETHER IT IS THE NUTRITION, THE WORKOUTS AND THEIR INTENSITY OR THE CHALLENGES OR THE TEMPTATIONS. I HAVE WATCHED SEVERAL SEASONS AND IT STRIKES ME AS UNFAIR, BIASED AND SIMPLY CRUEL THAT IN CERTAIN EPISODES CHALLENGES ARE GEARED TO ONE TEAM OR INDIVIDUAL, BUT THE MOST CRUEL YET UNDENIABLE FACT IS THAT THE TRAINERS ARE IN ON IT PROBABLY BECAUSE THEIR JOBS ARE IN JEOPARDY. FOR INSTANCE NOTICE HOW THE TRAINERS INCREASE OR DECREASE THE INTENSITY ON THEIR WORKOUTS SO THAT CERTAIN GROUPS DO BETTER OR WORSE. I WOULD LIKE TO GET INTO MORE DETAILED ANALYSIS BUT THAT WOULD PROBABLY BE TOO TECHNICAL FOR THIS FORUM. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THE RATINGS ARE THE DRIVING FORCE NOT THE HEALTH AND WEIGHT LOSS

It is never going to be fair until they have one man and one woman Biggest Loser per Series. I actually think that is what they will end up doing in the end anyway.

I really like this show and have been a devoted fan since season 1. However, to me, Bob destroyed this season by picking all big boys when given the chance and the girls are at an extreme disadvantage, physically, in most of the challenges. Jillian was spot on last night in her chastisement of host for grilling Brittany. It IS unrealistic to think the girls, as a whole, are on par physically with the boys. There are exceptions, but, generally, girls don't lose weight in the same way boys do, and to make them lift a HUGE tire and do "boot camp" as part of a challenge and expect them to match the guys is just plain stupid and a little degrading. It certainly has given some of the men (Dan) a false sense of superiority. If I see them do that stupid "Proud" chant one more time, I'm going to change the channel. "Proud" for what? Beating a group of girls? It's so misogynistic.
