Published February 18, 2008
Hello, reality fans! This week we have some great reality TV casting calls. We will be providing this list weekly so be sure to come back and visit.
Million Dollar Password Now Casting
CBS and the producers of American Idol are looking for interesting, fun, and energetic people to play their new primetime game show, Million Dollar Password, with host Regis Philbin! If you love games and have a vast vocabulary, you could win a million dollars in one day!
Now Casting Dress My Nest (Season 3)
Are you living in a design catastrophe? Are you completely clueless when it comes to home décor? Is your place too embarrassing to invite people over? Did your do-it-yourself projects make you wish you didn’t?
If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions and you are a cute, outgoing, and fun female aged 21-40, and think you deserve an upscale room makeover worth $10,000 or more, then email us ASAP!
Must live in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.
Now Casting Host for New Adventure Series
A New York production company is casting the host for a new History Channel adventure series. The program is about going to remote, dangerous locations around the world at the most dangerous times of year, under the most extreme conditions.
Examples: Taking a nuclear icebreaker in Siberia to one of the most toxic "closed" cities in the world; taking the local bus ride on the “death road” in La Paz, Bolivia during the rainy season; learning to survive a helicopter crash while flying to an oil rig in the North Sea. Please note: we aren't putting anyone's life in danger by producing these programs. Safety will always be a priority.
We are specifically looking for men between the ages of 25-45, who look tough and ready to take on anything! The following criteria are a plus in any candidate, but not a must:
- Past military experience
- Extensive travel abroad, possibly speaks (some) foreign language(s)
- Skilled in survival techniques
- Comfortable in inclement weather
- Educated in engineering and/or history
- Mountaineering or large expedition experience
- Non-union actor
On-camera experience is good but not a deal breaker. We’re looking for someone who can be comfortable in front of the camera, can tell a good story, and be enthusiastic about new adventures.
Grill It! with Bobby Flay on Food Network Now Casting
Are you a master griller? Are all barbeques held at your house? If you’re a serious griller (charcoal or gas) and have the skills to prove it, then live out your culinary fantasy on Bobby Flay’s new half hour Grill It! series on the Food Network.
To apply, please create a three-minute VHS Tape or DVD in which you cook us your favorite dish. Tell us how you created the recipe and the ingredients you use. All applicants must have a terrific personality and must illustrate why you’d make a fantastic candidate for Grill It! with Bobby Flay. Unlike Throwdown with Bobby Flay there are no winners or losers — instead Grill It! shows people how to grill with a well-stocked kitchen.
