Music Review: Lenny Kravitz - It Is Time For A Love Revolution
Published February 13, 2008
Lenny Kravitz released his eighth album titled It Is Time For A Love Revolution on February 5, 2008 on Virgin Records.
I listened to It Is Time For A Love Revolution in its entirety and I really enjoyed the album.
The album commences with the song “Love Revolution” and concludes with “I Want To Go Home.” The songs in between like “Good Morning,” “Love, Love, Love,” “I’ll Be Waiting,” “Will You Marry Me,” “I Love The Rain” and “This Moment Is All There Is” continue to spin your mind into a love revolution.
If you do not feel like being spun into a love revolution, you should consider listening to “A Long And Sad Goodbye” which is about Lenny Kravitz’s father. Also, listen to “A New Door” and “Back In Vietnam.” “Back In Vietnam” might just be as popular as Lenny Kravitz’s other war protest song titled “We Want Peace” from the album The Official Athens 2004 Olympic Games Album.
If you are unfamiliar with Lenny Kravitz, be sure to visit his website or his MySpace Page where you can listen to his music.
“Bring It On” and “I’ll Be Waiting” are the two most played songs on his MySpace page. “I’ll Be Waiting,” is also the most popular song from the album on iTunes as of February 11, 2008.
I am looking forward to providing future coverage of Lenny Kravitz next time he performs in Chicago. Below is the album song list for It Is Time For A Love Revolution.
