Part of Movie Media

Last week I promised something of a super-sized version of the column to make up for missing a week a few frames back, hopefully this week will make up for it. I hope it does — between the Super Bowl edition that went up earlier this week, and this large edition there should be more than enough to keep you busy for at least a few minutes!

Anyway, welcome back to the Movie Media column, featuring trailers, posters, and clips for upcoming films. Some are nice and fresh, and some aren't. However, they all have something in common: for better or worse, they all caught my attention. If there is a poster or trailer you think I should check out, be sure to let me know.

This week's movie goodies include trailers, posters, and stills covering all manner of upcoming fare, from foreign drama to slapstick comedy, to a comedic horror romp, and more!

Shrooms Poster, Trailer

This could be fun. Teen-centric horror films tend to have that one character who always seems to be drugged up. What if there was a movie where all of the characters are high when it starts hitting the fan? What if none of them were able to tell what was real and what wasn't? Sounds like a good movie, if you ask me. I know, you didn't. Anyway, Shrooms has a group heading into the woods, consuming some of the seasonal fungi and then witnessing the strange events. What's real? What's not? Looking forward to finding out.

Forbidden Kingdom - Posters
It was just last week that I brought you the trailer and first poster for The Forbidden Kingdom. Now, we have a series of character posters to go along with it. I have to say that I am really looking forward to it. The idea of having Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the same movie is a kung fu fan's dream. These posters look very nice, they have a classy feel to them.
