PlayStation Network Update: 01/31/2008

Ash PSN, how I love thee! Another good update for the ever improving Playstation Network, for me the continued support of the great game Folklore (which I just bought) is amazing. It is nice to see a developer like Gamer Republic actually adding useful content and not following the Need For Speed: Pro Street model of expensive pay for cheat 'content'.

Rock Band is enhanced with two great songs from the Smashing Pumpkins and Rush and a song...umm...a song I have never heard of by a band I don't know, must be great fun to play I would hope. We also see a new demo in the form of the upcoming co-op FPS Conflict: Denied Ops.

On the multimedia front we have game videos for Battlefield: Bad Company and Go! Sports Skydiving and movie trailers for Prince Caspian, Prom Night (which I am sure is HIGH drama), Daddy Day Camp (glee) and Across the Universe. Once again we have more free themes and wallpaper in the form of another PixelJunk Monsters theme and two new wallpapers for the game.

There we have it, an unspectacular but solid update this week, definitely trumped by the awesomeness that is Rez HD on the XBLA but good nonetheless. All prices listed are in U.S. funds unless labeled FREE, which means they are free!
