The Manchoosian Candidates

It's never been more clear to those who are paying attention that our elections are being manipulated. As Israel's Ynetnews notes, America is the "world’s largest videocracy" due to too many people getting their political news only from television, a universe where manipulative advertising is the Word of God. Political advertising is the prime example of this fact, and this pre-Super weekend we will see the best of the best at work.

Manipulating data is an accepted practice in the field of statistical analysis, for until one manipulates data, one cannot discern the underlying causes of a specific result. While this may be an acceptable practice in the whirled world of advertising, this cannot and should not be acceptable in electoral politics.

A while back I wrote about my views on who the ultimate nominees for both parties would be - John McCain and Hillary Clinton. While this isn't yet a done deal, it soon will be with Super Tuesday now upon us. I'm not the only one who comes to this conclusion. The Ostroy Report presents an interesting take on why this will be. I don't agree with all of the specifics, but the general result as presented is plausible. Will Durst admits to "shaking just thinking about it."

Others must be seeing this outcome as well. The interesting thing about this development is that the leading corporate-war-friendly sell-outs - Clinton and McCain - are already attracting their own versions of John Kerry's Swift Boaters, which is proof in itself that the fix is in.

Hillary Clinton just received the provisional endorsement of Ann Coulter (there’s a video clip at the linked site). This provocative pronouncement is intended on the surface to be a slap at John McCain, but one cannot doubt that it is also intended to hurt Clinton's prospects as well. How good a candidate can Hillary be, any non-conservative voter would ask, if the reigning Mean Red Queen will back her? I'll say little more about Hillary in this post, as I'm sure you've heard plenty already.

Whew! That was a quick "presidential" race! It's all over but the vote stealing....

America for sale!! America for sale!!

This is the twentieth time I've said that the American elections are a joke, and I'll be proven right on Wednesday.

Barabbas McCain will be the next bum in the White House - if there are elections....
