Chinese Democracy is Axl's Smile. It'll come out in 20 more years and it'll be praised because it's good to hear something after all that time but really it won't measure up to the groups best. And, yeah, there will be a Beatles reunion. But the living aren't going to see it. As for the "final year-end list" as the front page says, I have a feeling there may be one more coming very soon . . .

Downturn of the biz I thought was a given nowadays. All those slackers that used to start rock and roll bands stay home and play super wii box or whatever they call it.

although I'm a bit surprised you didn't mention the overall downturn of the traditional downturn of the traditional record biz (actually I guess Radiohead and MP3's kinda cover that though)... ...Damn! And I call myself an editor? I'll take that next beer now, barkeep... -Glen

Well Skeet, you managed to hit on most of the hot spots and low points, although I'm a bit surprised you didn't mention the overall downturn of the traditional downturn of the traditional record biz (actually I guess Radiohead and MP3's kinda cover that though)... Pssssst... by the way, I hate to break this to you, but the GNR thing aint ever gonna happen. Besides, without Slash, whats the point?? -Glen
