Nate Is Always the Fall Guy: Nate, thinking he is protecting Blair, takes the blame, since after all he just got some really good sex and he’s been determined to throw his life down the toilet all season. He then gets expelled for not having enough carnal info, but proves his love to Blair. Despite his expulsion, Nate is a winner this week. After all, how much trouble can you get into for being expelled when Dad is a convicted, coke-using embezzler?

Blair vs. Chuck For Most Manipulative Cover-Up and Blackmail Artist: Of course, Chuck wins, but Blair competes with him neck and neck. They both try to buy Vanessa, one succeeds, and there are too many levels of blackmail for me to keep track. Apparently, Vanessa will take your money if it’s a thank you, but not if it’s a payoff. I’m less than impressed with either and can't believe she donated Chuck's 10K to a funny VD charity.

Then again both Blair and Chuck have so much access to cash seemingly no payoff hurts them in the least. Buying Serena out of trouble sounds like a multi-million dollar proposition for Bart, but no one seems to feel any financial pinch.

Next week Serena is likely to walk in on Chuck snorting cocaine off of two Asian hookers. Did I mention that I love this show?
