It's seems as though everyone has their own little war to prosecute these days, doesn't it? I'm even sure that someone of them are being carried out for very good reasons.

Like Charlie Wilson. Charlie Wilson has his own war that's starting up on December 21. It's actually going to be in theaters and you can see it under the name, I'm sure you're going to be surprised by this, Charlie Wilson's War. I haven't seen it, but as it stars that same guy that was in the movie Cast Away, it should be pretty good. The guy was named Wilson in that too, right? I know that I distinctly remember the repeated refrain of "Wilson!" throughout that film.

But I digress. Or, I did digress, I'm never quite sure which one is correct.

Either way, we here at Blogcritics Magazine have our own little war right now and we're planning on killing with kindness. We're launching a huge, a monstrous, an immense, a ridiculous Charlie Wilson's War giveaway! Man, if we had any more stuff to give away in this giveaway, we'd be offering up a dinner with Julia Roberts.

Okay, here's what we got: we've got a poster, a duffel bag, and then three t-shirts, three long-sleeved shirts, and three hats. They'll be given away as follows…

There will be one Grand Prize Winner, who will receive the poster, duffel bag, and a t-shirt, long sleeved shirt and a hat. Then there will be two runner-ups, both of whom will receive a t-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, and a hat. Sadly, we have no volleyballs.

What we do have though are rules. I like rules. I'm a law and order and rules kind of guy. Maybe that's why I would be no good in a shootin' war; shootin' wars tend to not have very defined rules, they're just, mainly, shootin'.

Wow, I digressed again. Okay, the rules:

• Fill out the entry form.
• Entries must be received by December 31, 2007.
• The winner will be drawn on or after January 1, 2008.
• The winner will be notified by e-mail and in the comments section below.
• You must be a U.S. or Canadian resident to enter.
