Welcome to the Movie Media column featuring trailers, posters, and clips for upcoming films. Some are nice and fresh, and some aren't. However, they all have something in common: they caught my attention, for better or worse. If there is a poster or trailer you think I should check out, be sure to let me know.

This week's movie goodies include a new monster movie, a new Uwe Boll production, a heist comedy, a superhero flick, a new video store-based comedy, and more!

Cloverfield - Poster, Trailer

It's not exactly new news that JJ Abrams' new production has a title, a poster, and a new trailer. Was anyone a little let down when the title turned out to be Cloverfield? After all of the secrecy about the title and the tease of posters at Comic-Con I figured it wouldn't turn out to be the codename the production had. Anyway, the poster is just the original teaser with the title on it. I have to say that it is a pretty cool poster. I like it anyway. The new trailer is pretty good too. I am really looking forward to seeing this hit the big screen.

First Sunday - Poster, Trailer

This looks like it could be very funny. A couple of low level criminals with a bad luck streak get sentenced to community service. While doing their service, they get the thought to rob a local church, with comedic results. The cast includes Ice Cube, Tracy Morgan, Katt Williams, and Chi McBride. As fun as the trailer seems, the poster is another matter altogether. It is the standard Photoshopping of big heads. They could have done better.

The Dark Knight - Poster

The teaser poster for Christopher Nolan's follow-up to Batman Begins has arrived. The Dark Knight is easily one of my most anticipated films for 2008, and I have faith in Nolan and crew that this will not disappoint. The less said the better, so here it is:
