<description>The film&#039;s enormous power comes from how dark it gets before the dawn, so to speak.  You really feel George&#039;s despair.  It&#039;s not just a sentimental wheeze, as it has been dismissed by some over the years.</description>

<description>I&#039;m really glad to hear I don&#039;t need to buy this. 

This is one of my perennial favorites, too, and it&#039;s nice to know that I can hang on to the copy (black and white, of course!) I already own. </description>
