Big Daddy: I guess there's always next week, right? :)

Murray: I really wanted to like MC, but the writing was not good at all. Performances were good but couldn't make up for the story.

I just saw Martian Child. It was a tad schmaltzy, sure, but I was engrossed nonetheless. It was a lovely film, and I left with a good feeling. The film lacked a little subtlety, and had melodrama in excess, but Cusack turned in a great performance, and Coleman was adorable/creepy. It was pretty enjoyable, all in all.
