Dexter Does a Halloween Giveaway on Blogcritics Magazine!

Oh Dexter, you darkly dreaming demented death-dealer. I so admire all the pseudo, maybe, possibly, depends on how you look at it evil that you do. Are you a good person because you only kill bad people or are you a bad person because… you know… you kill people? You're a riddle, wrapped in a conundrum, combined with an enigma, all tied up inside a nice Hefty cinch sack filled with body parts.

I do have a fear though, Dexter. I worry that you might think me evil. I worry that you might think me wrong and horrible. I worry that you might decide that I ought to be your next victim. Okay, that's three fears, but I have them all and, if you think about it, they're all related so it's kind of one fear. Right?

Or not. If you want them to be stated as three separate fears I'm more than happy to oblige. Whatever it takes to make you happy and not think me worthy of death.

I'll tell you what, in order to make you happy, in order to calm your anger, in order to get you to sheath your steel scalpel, why doesn't Blogcritics Magazine, along with the good folks at Showtime, organize a little Halloween giveaway in your honor? How does that sound?

First, I'll make sure to tell people that season two of Dexter can be seen Sunday nights at 9pm on Showtime. Then, I'll tell people that Dexter episodes can also be downloaded and point them to this fabulous Showtime link with the details. So far so good? Great.

Next, I'll step it up, letting all our readers know that we have got four (4) Dexter posters to give away to four (4) lucky winners (one poster per winner). Then I'll really let them have it, telling them that we have two (2) copies of the entire first season of Dexter to give away to two (2) lucky winners (one copy per winner). I'll even let all the readers know just how much I liked the first season by pointing them to my review of the first season DVD set.

Lastly, just so there is no confusion and/or cheating - and I think everyone understands that you'd have to come after them if there is cheating - I'll post the rules:

  • Entries must be mailed to BCGiveaway@gmail.com and include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, and telephone number.
  • Entries must include the subject line Dexter. Any entries that do not include the required subject line will be discarded without consideration.
  • Only one entry per person.
  • Entries must be received by November 2, 2007.
  • The winner will be drawn on or after November 3, 2007.
  • The winner will be notified by e-mail and in the comments section below.
  • One winning entry per household.
  • You must be a U.S. resident to enter.

Yes? Will this appease you? Will this help you not consider me a bad person? Just remember Dexter, I have a family. Even if you don't like me, think of them. And remember, watch Dexter Sunday nights at 9pm on Showtime!
