Conservative Girls

Written by Anthony Grande

I think that there is nothing more sexy than a pretty girl who is an outspoken conservative.

I am not talking about women like Ann Coulter. I am talking about girls that you see in everyday life, at school, at work, in your neighborhood-who don't hesitate to express conservative thoughts.

There was a particular instance in my senior year in high school. The teacher was talking about the history of the 2nd Amendment when this guy in the back said something negative about our right to bear arms. Then, out of nowhere, this girl up front tore into him: how stupid it was to take guns from innocent people who only have them to protect their families.

In this class, I was always the one talking about politics, but this time I was speechless. There was this funny feeling in my stomach and I wanted to add to her comment but I couldn't do it...I was just speechless. Here was this beautiful girl who was talking conservative about the 2nd amendment. I was never attracted to anyone as I was then. It might sound silly, but that's the honest truth.

And likewise, the biggest turnoff for me is a female who is liberal...especially on the abortion issue. She can be a perfect 10, but I would still be turned off. She is empty inside. I used to have this thing for Angelina Jolie, but refuse to even look at her in movies or anywhere when I found out that she was a liberal.

I am 18 years old and a private first class in the U.S. Army and also a long time young conservative. I have posted blogs for other sites for the past year or so. Anthony Grande (Hardcore Conservative)

an AG article...

one thing...a week or two ago, you were trolling a thread, and stated you were going back to do your senior year this fall after having gone through Basic Training...

yet in this Article you state you met this girl in your senior year?

which time were you being deliberately factually inaccurate? or are you doing your senior year of high school twice for some reason?

just curious...

Excelsior?

#2 — July 19, 2007 @ 11:48AM — gonzo marx [URL]

ok..went back and dug up some stuff on the timeline...could be that your graduation just happened this past june...so my Apologies for skepticism, it was brought on by so many conflicts in the timeline with some statements over the last year or two

good luck, keep your head down, Ant G

but don't shoot girls down merely due to a disagreement in politics, you might just miss the complement to your obtuse angles

but, as i said...good luck

Excelsior?

If you can or want to talk with, read, listen to, associate with, relate to, or tolerate only those who are just like you politically or ideologically, then:

1.) You will at 18 have decided to cut yourself off from much of the human race, a whole lot of literature, music, science, philosophy, and other areas of human knowledge, experience, and interaction and,

2.) You will become one of the most prejudiced and self-absorbed people imaginable.

A fanatic by any other name...

And remember, no one puts out like conservative girls.

Lee, that's where you're mistaken. A conservative is more likely to understand more things, to be able to tackle the intellectual world. Time spent with a conservative is enriching. Liberals tend to travel in tiny social circles, to think in tiny obsessive circles. So preferring conservative gals is like refusing to eat Wonder Bread - you're throwing off bland unanimity.

#6 — July 19, 2007 @ 16:14PM — Dr Dreadful

Oy, Baronius...

A conservative is more likely to understand more things, to be able to tackle the intellectual world. Time spent with a conservative is enriching.

You're self-projecting.

Liberals tend to travel in tiny social circles, to think in tiny obsessive circles.

You just defined the exact opposite of 'liberal'. If you have in mind (and I suspect you do) a certain strain of left-winger, then people of that description are just as likely to be found on the right as on the left - a case in point would be Christian fundamentalists.

So preferring conservative girls is like refusing to eat Wonder Bread - you're throwing off bland unanimity.

Um, aren't conservatives by definition resistant to change? Talk about bland unanimity...

America would not be the nation it is today without liberal thought. Things like liberty, independence, religious freedom, the emancipation of slaves, women's suffrage, civil rights... all liberal ideas.

Is this article satire?
There is no possible way it's meant to be serious. The writing is so childish and laughable!

I get that the author is "18" but this seems like the type of fare published in a junior high newsletter.

I'm not trying to be mean here but a list of "turn ons and turn offs" from a non-writer seems a little out of place here.

#8 — July 19, 2007 @ 16:47PM — Ray Ellis [URL]

You might want to sit down, Sean. It's not satire. Ignore it and it will go away.
We hope. . .

#9 — July 19, 2007 @ 17:40PM — Dr Dreadful

No, indeed, it's not satire. Anthony went straight from high school to the Army. He hasn't had a grounding in the real world yet.

That'll happen the first time a conservative girl gives him a resounding slap in the face and won't 'put out'...

#5:
Hilarious, Baronius!

I have to laugh out loud at the mental picture of hordes of tiny liberals staggering around in tiny circles with their tiny hands clutched to their tiny heads trying to stiffle their tiny obsessive thoughts;great satire on the way some nutty partisans see everybody else!

And preferring conservative girls, to eating Wonder bread--well, the humorous possibilities there are self-evident!

But your best joke is about conservatives being more able to tackle the intellectual world, and being so...enriching(HAW HAW). That's really funny stuff, but just to top it off you could have included some of Bush's better quotations.

Yours for more comic relief,

Lee

#11 — July 20, 2007 @ 02:50AM — Angelina Jolie's Asst.

Mr Grande, Angelina is so disappointed to hear she no longer has a chance with you because she was very attracted to your African ancestry. Unfortunately Angelina will have to settle with Brad Pitt for now and remain on suicide watch. Angelina does wonder though how informed an opinion a virgin can have about abortion. It's like a vegan discussing BBQ.

"A conservative is more likely to understand more things,"

You mean like Iraq, evolution, and homosexuality? Conservative girls equal Wonder Bread. AG's excuse for his ignorance is his age. What's yours?

#12 — July 20, 2007 @ 03:00AM — Anthony Grande [URL]

Ha ha well Angelina Jolie better care what I think.

Is this Silas or Roger?

#13 — July 20, 2007 @ 07:00AM — Arch Conservative

The difference is clear enough and easy enough for most to understand.........

Conservatives think while liberals feel.

#14 — July 20, 2007 @ 08:18AM — Leslie Bohn

Mr. Grande:

No matter how old you are, it will benefit you to not generalize about any group of people. No, conservatives don't "think," and liberals don't "feel." Both kinds of people do both.

You'll encounter all kinds of people in the world, and if you're already sorting them out before you even meet them, you're going to miss out on a lot.

#15 — July 20, 2007 @ 09:35AM — Michael J. West [URL]

Anthony, my young friend, before you refuse to "even look at" a liberal, you might bear in mind that in 18 months there's a damn good chance that a liberal will be in the White House. And if you're still in the Army by then, you might find yourself not just looking at a liberal, but following orders from one.

#16 — July 20, 2007 @ 13:29PM — Lumpy [URL]

I hear all the chicks on girl's gone wild are Neocons.

#17 — July 20, 2007 @ 13:49PM — zingzing

archie: "Conservatives think while liberals feel."

ahh, archie... where you been?

so conservatives are intellectuals, eh? that explains the southern block voting.

conservative politicians certainly are thinkers. manipulaters more like. devious bunch, that.

as for women, which is the topic of discussion, sometimes one doesn't want a girl to think to much (that's why god invented alcohol). and a good liberal girl liberally dosed up on liberal amounts of alcohol will get quite liberal in the b'droom. i don't want some girl thinking too hard about what goes on there... just enjoy it, "feel" it, if you (she, not you) will.

then you can take her out and have a good cry about africa. what's not to like?

also, conservative girls like country music and top-40 radio. come on, now!

i judge my girl's intellect based more upon musical taste rather than political persuasion. that said, i've never found a conservative girl with good music taste, so i've never had to move on to that anyway.

#18 — July 20, 2007 @ 14:23PM — Baronius

Dr. D, I was talking about a certain type of left-winger. For the purposes of this article and its comment board, I'm assuming that "conservative" and "liberal" have their modern definitions. If you want to discuss the changes of those words over the years, feel free. Anthony implied the modern usage of the terms when he characterized gun rights as conservative and abortion as liberal.

#19 — July 20, 2007 @ 22:05PM — Zedd

Anthony,

I'm encouraged by your interest in politics at such a young age.

As you age, allow yourself to grow and listen to other perspectives. Hopefully ones political ideas wont affect your ability to find them appealing, let alone love them.

I hope you discover that political poles are useless. What is significant is YOUR ability to think and process information, coming up with the best solution for the particular situation. I trust that you will not adhere to ideology for the sake of being right or to fit into a certain group or to please family, boss or friends. I hope that you will have a life that is abundant.

Conservatives girls, like most conservatives, show how intellectually retarded they are when they open their mouths. Ann Coulter is a perfect example. So is my Mother. It is most interesting to me how most educated people are less conservative or liberal. Puts into perspective why conservatives oppose free education.

"Conservatives girls, like most conservatives, show how intellectually retarded they are when they open their mouths. Ann Coulter is a perfect example. So is my Mother." (emphasis added)

Poor woman...

anthony:

at the age of 18, you're already "a long-time young conservative"?

considering the fact that you were conceived in the reagan years and spent the bulk of your youth in the bush eras, i guess that makes sense.

as for ruling out liberal women across the board, i think i speak for all the liberal women out there when i say hallelujah.

#23 — July 26, 2007 @ 21:11PM — gette [URL]

I can't believe this crap got published on BC. Why don't you write some actual conservative thought? That might actually be interesting.

#24 — July 27, 2007 @ 01:59AM — Dr Dreadful

Arch pronounced: Conservatives think while liberals feel.

I wonder if Mark Foley thought before he felt...?

#25 — September 2, 2007 @ 15:31PM — Abba

There are so many fabrications and desperately hope filled falsehoods that it's literally impossible to rip them all apart in a timely fashion.

First, it's impossible to have any kind of fully formed political ideology while still in the mental confines of high school. You haven't experiences anything real, instead living in a tiny isolted bubble created by your school and mommy and daddy.

Conservative girls put out???? This is the most glaring and hypocritical statement I've read in at least a day, especially since yet ANOTHER closet homo Republican like Craig's been in the news.
BY their very affiliation, conservative girls SHOULDN'T put out. Aren't you supposed to be the party of family values? Aren't the girls supposed to wait until marraige? Isn't abortion horrendous and unthinkable??
Apparently, not really, even though conservatives are foaming at the mouth maniacs about these things, except when it pertains to them.

The supposed sexual "liberalism" of conservative girls is anathema to the ideology that gives you an unnatural stiffy. I guess us liberals got it right with sex didn't we? That's why so many conservatives are closet homosexuals, like Ted Haggard, Craig, McCain's guy in FL, Foley, etc.. Your list goes on and on and on.
Meanwhile, our gay guys are openly gay and not really ashamed of it.

You people have some serious mental problems. It's that surety in your ideology that has been your greatest foe and the designer of your political demise, and that's why the era of Liberalism is fast approaching.

You have had all 3 branches of the US gov't for 6 years, and you have proven your ideas to be bankrupt and far more harmful than anything President Clinton did during his Presidency.
