Adaleen follows them out of the house, telling Nicki that she WILL be in the family photo. Nicki and Bill just keep walking. “Always a scene. Always trouble,” Adaleen rants. “One day you will realize the importance of family and won’t it just be too late? Shame. Shame, shame, shame!”

Bill does tell her that the state police are on their way, also implicating Alby. Adaleen runs off to tell Roman. In the car, Bill sees a single police car heading out to Juniper Creek. Nicki looks out the window, eyes red and puffy, and looks terrified. Bill takes her hand. Aw.

Margie comes walking into her house, followed closely by Ben, who looks embarrassed and a little beaten up. There’s really pretty music playing. I’m not sure if it’s a song or just score. While Ben cleans up at the kitchen sink, Margie looks out her back window and sees Barb rubbing the paint even more into the lawn. That may or may not have been her intention, but really, that’s what she’s doing.

Margie walks in to Barb’s house, asking Sarah if they can have a minute. Sarah mutters, “Drama,” but when she gets a Look from both moms, she leaves. Margie tells Barb that she’s not sorry about the lawn and that she’s not even paying for it because Barb was wrong. She says she knows that she and Ben are only five years apart (which makes her 21? Last season, I heard 23 or 24 …) and that she’s attractive, but she’s his mother. She then tells him that Ben got beat up at the concert and asks if he called Barb. “He called me,” Margie tells her. “And I picked him up. Most kids would’ve hidden that from their moms, but he called me … I’m just saying, maybe I’m close to him in a good way. He needs you. But maybe he needs me like a third mom, too.”

Barb says that he has to sleep in his own bed from now on, and then Ben walks in. She just asks if he’s okay and doesn’t yell at him. He gives her a kiss on the cheek and goes up to bed. Margie says she’ll tell him, which I guess is about the whole not-sleeping-over thing.

Bill and Nicki arrive home and Nicki just walks over to her house without a word. Bill calls Don, telling him to come into work tomorrow. He’s thinking about pulling the plans for the third store and tells Don about the poker machines and how the clients don’t mind that they're polygamists. Don is wary, but Bill tells him that they don’t have the same options as other businessmen. Don says he’ll think about it.

Hello,

Could yoube so kind to please explain me the meaning of Adalee's sentence :

"This could be the last family photo, Jesus could be back by Labor Day." I understand there's a hidden meaning but I don't know which one (English not being my mother tongue).

Thanks a million in advance

Frogguette
