Game du Jour Deals: June 4 through June 10

Game du Jour is a "One Deal a Day" website for casual PC games. Every day of the week, GameDuJour.com sells one downloadable game at a steep discount.

Every week Blogcritics Magazine will bring you a look of those games, so you know what to expect when the featured game gets its 24 hours in the spotlight.

We aim to publish reviews at least one day before the game goes on sale at GameDuJour.com, so please check back regularly. But we will admit, as much as we love casual games here at Blogcritics, we won't be able to get to every title.

Trials of Werlin

Immerse yourself in a fun world with Werlin as you guide him through the Wizard's Labyrinth, solving mind-bending puzzles, while avoiding monsters, traps, and other dangerous obstacles. With magic as his only advantage, Werlin will have to be brave, cunning, and quick. He cannot succeed without your help!

Peepers

Full of relaxing sounds and beautifully rendered and hand-drawn visuals, Peepers will help you unwind while still challenging your mind. The game revolves around a group of Spring Peeper frogs that are trapped in their ponds. You must help the frogs escape from their ponds to meet by the willow tree for a concert tonight but the only way the peepers can escape is by jumping on lily pads around the pond. The trick is that the frogs' momentum makes the lily pads float to a new position when they jump from pad to pad. Learning the rules is very easy, but to master the game will requires much thought, concentration, and problem solving.

Scorch an Island

Scorch an Island invites you to take a part in the furious tank battles on a set of flying islands. The islands can be fully destroyed by a nice variety of weapons from a machine gun to a powerful nuclear bomb.

The game can be played by several players on the same computer in hot-seat mode, or through the Internet.
