Flip-Floppin' Mitt And The Swill-Lady

It would not at all be surprising to see the Swill-lady attempt to resurrect her failed healthcare proposal should she be elected President in 2008. To make matters worse it is likely that she will give some access to many of her large Hollywood donors, placing our nation in the position of having its policies influenced by a strange mix of large insurers and far left leaning entertainers who are completely out of touch with the real world.

So how do Flipper and Swillery stack up against one another when all is said and done? If you like evangelical rhetoric that envisions America as a Christian version of Iran, choose Flipper. If you like feel-good Hollywood-style far left rhetoric that provides a vision of higher taxes and poorer healthcare, choose Swillary. Either way we all lose.

The irony here is that all we’re better off if both Swillary and Flipper are liars who don’t implement their vision du jour once elected. If one wins the White House then our best bet is to vote the opposite party into control of Congress. At least that will give us a fighting chance against the far left and right special interests that push them towards the ideological fringes.

Mitt can't be any worse than Dubya. And Hillary ain't gonna be any better than Bubba.

Mitt Romney: Better than incompetent!

Hillary Clinton: Worse than corrupt!

Yeah, I'd have to choose the Mormon, sorry...

Uh, please tell me that your reference to Romney's "changing religions" is satirical. A satirical piece does not need to provide "evidence" for its off-the-wall assertions, and Scot Lehigh's op-ed in the Romney-hating Boston Globe is definitely off-the-wall.

Wow, you've certainly put yourself in the firing line with this one, Mr Yabosi. I'm surprised Arch Conservative hasn't already dropped by to defend his poster boy in his own inimitable way!

Tracy,

Pretty cool piece in Boston.com, eh? I suppose they are pretty far to the left, but entertaining at times.

You're probably right, I shoulda mentioned that Mitt hasn't renounced the Mormon church (so far as I know), but it still wouldn't surprise me if he converts to Southern Baptist in his effort to win the election. Flipper flip-flops at least as much as Kerry if not more.

Dr. Dreadful,

Yeah, I suppose I tend to write stuff that people either really like or that really ruffles some panties...

If Mitt Romney thought it would gain him the white house, he'd become a hasidic jew tomorrow. Clinton would just promise to become one, then weasel out.

Nancy,

Trying to picture Mitt in a black suit, a fedora and peyoth.

Anyone wanna have some fun with Photoshop?

It doesn't bother me that much to see you guys taking potshots at Mitt. especially considering the fact that it is in part due to the fact that you guys have no one near as qualified or competent as Romney to support yourself.

Hillary Clinton........as corrupt as they come and nearly one half of the entire population already stating that they would "not vote for her under any circumstances"

John Edwards........getting $400 haircuts while lecturing the rest of us on his connection to the average american,....using his wife's cancer to garner votes, and calling for protests on memeorial day of all days................yeah this guy's really ready for primtime

Barack Obama...........an empty suit liberal with no real accomplishments to speak of who is sucked up to by leftists who are so anxious to pat themselves on the back for having voted for a black man when in fact he is only half black....he is neither a uniter with visionary ideas that appeal to all Americans nor someone with the requesite skills to lead this nation....he's a run of the mill liberal who happens to be the flavor of the month at this point in time......

John Mccain...umm yeah ok.....the year 2000 called...it's wants it's reasonable expectations of winning the white house back pal....

Rudy G. ---- the only man that could even come close to being as great a leader as Romney...like Romney he appeals to a wide spectrum of people and is very likable

So I'm not too worried about all you trying to paint Romney as some kind of religious nut, which he's not, or some kind of chronic flip flopper, I can go example for example with every major dem candidate on flip flops they have committed

In the end the America people will elect Romney if not Guiliani because the more they get to know Mitt the more they will see how capable, intelligent, and sincere he is and we will ultimately say no to the socialist shrew who doesn't have a genuine bone in her body......the pretty prell poster boy who would go so far for votes as to use his own wife's cancer and the empty suit average liberal "white guilt" magnet

But hey don't forget that on the day that Mitt is being inaugurated your old pal AC will be around to say "I told you so" because hell......I'm that type of guy!
