David Hasselhoff’s battle with alcoholism has become a rather public one. A new home video has surfaced showing the Baywatch legend completely smashed, dressed in only blue jeans while attempting to eat a hamburger. The video was shot by his 16-year-old daughter to document her father in this embarrassing state.

The Hoff got some attention last year when he was denied boarding from a London flight because of intoxication. He blamed prescription painkillers for that episode, but this time there’s no escaping responsibility.

Hasselhoff’s daughter taped her dad in this state to show him what he looks like when he drinks. She is constantly reprimanding him on the tape, although he is mostly non-responsive, barely hanging on to consciousness.

The tape was apparently made about three months ago, and Hasselhoff is addressing the issue honestly, admitting, “One evening I did have a brief relapse… I have learned from it and I am back on my game."

Let’s hope The Hoff can stay on the path to sobriety. Lord knows the German pop charts are depending on him.
