Hee hee.

Hee hee.

Sorry folks, I can't stop laughing.

Hee hee!

The day for rejoicing has arrived. But first, let me give a recap of last night's episode.

I guess FOX has run out of filler sitcoms for Wednesday nights, because we keep having these boring hour-long results shows. Whatever happened to that Wedding Bells TV show that they were promoting early on in the year? I saw one episode and that was it.

At the beginning of the show, Simon takes some time out to address the eye roll issue. As some people know, when Chris did his shout out to the victims of Virginia Tech, Simon was caught rolling his eyes. Supposedly, Simon didn't hear a word of what Chris had said, because he was talking to Paula at the time and rolled his eyes while they talked about Chris' remark that nasally is a form of singing.

On to the first filler crap of the evening: Ryan interviews people on the street on what they thought about Tuesday's performances.

Yay, Bucky sighting! Much better than the creepy Constantine sighting on Tuesday. I love Bucky. He's so down to earth and cool.

Yawn, group song. Ryan makes the inevitable Magnificent Seven reference to the gang. Jordin and Chris surprisingly sound good together. She also sounds good with LaKisha. Goes to show once again that Jordin is so damn versatile.

Filler crap two: Video of the contestants talking about their favorite songs. Jordin mentions that she likes Fergie.

Filler crap three: As luck would have it, Fergie happens to be performing on this show. Imagine that. It was actually not a bad song. It was rather unFergie-like.

As always, we then have the Ford ad. Everyone is a spy and trying to steal a briefcase. Sanjaya is dressed like Neo from The Matrix. Blake looks like a dapper British gentleman from the '60s. Weird.

Oh no. Ryan's replaying the Last Temptation of George Huff scenario. I really, really hate when he does this. It's downright cruel. Phil, Jordin, and Chris form one group, while Sanjaya, LaKisha, and Blake form the other. Of course Melinda would be the sacrificial lamb, forced to choose which group she belongs in. Melinda pretends to be horrified, then pulls a Bo Bice and sits on the floor in between both groups. Ryan tells her to scootch towards Phil and company, and the audience erupts in glee because after all, any group with Melinda in it is obviously safe.

Even though I am glad Sanjaya is gone, I feel sorry for the kid. How many 17 year olds have to put up with such vehement hatred and condemnation? It's not his fault - the AI producers put him through to the top 12 when he did not deserve it. America voted for this guy week after week. I hope this kid is OK.... the mental stress must have been overwhelming. He still has a killer smile - I wish him well.

Kath- Don't worry about Sanjaya. You were wondering how many 17 year olds put up with what he dealt with during this season? The name John Stevens ring a bell? Well guess what - he put out a CD a few years back, so you can bet that little Sanjaya will have one as well. He'll be fine.

VFTW is supporting Phil now.

Personally, I thought that they'd support Chris R., but what do I know?
