Jason asks, "What inner city male is going to come and play for a white lady?" I would answer that the players who would come and play for a white woman are the same players who would play for a good old, semi-redneck boy like Billy Gillespie. I would also contend that players go to a particular college because they want to win. Summitt is a proven winner. But it is moot at this point since Billy No. 2 is coming to UK.

This is the dumbest idea ever. What inner city male is going to come and play for a white lady? Answer? Think this through. It is a pretty thought in an idealistic world, but not in the REAL world.

This is so right on! Kentucky was, I believe, the first NCAA Division I men's Basketball program to have a woman as an assistant coach during the Pitino years. Summitt has excellent coaching credentials. I think she should be given consideration. Let's hope she is given the consideration that a winner deserves.
