Totally check out Roman. Stylistically, it's nothing like May. It was shot in raw (but beautiful!) DV and it's incredibly understated and quiet. Very powerful film, though. The Lucky McKee/Angela Bettis team is terrific, and augmented by Kevin Ford (Angela's husband) who shot and cut the film. (Oh, and little known tidbit: Rian Johnson of Brick fame was one of the editors too.)
