So when can we expect Airline's new album to come out?

I’m thinking maybe fall or winter this year. But you know in the process you never really know how long it is going to take. We would like to be done with it by then.

What are you hoping for from your new album?Airline on a grassy knoll

Really, just to define this band, who we are and what we have been doing together the past year. Because I’m sure as soon we’re done with this record a lot will change, we’ll develop our sound even further, but I want it to, I think we all want it to be a picture of what we’ve been doing so we can introduce ourselves to the Dallas music scene, the Texas music scene. And then hopefully bigger.

If you would like to be introduced to Airline you can hear they’re new tracks and some of they’re EPSoft Radio at their MySpace space on their website.

How does this thing work againI'm a writer and music journalist originally from Salt Lake City, but now living in Scotland. I was a Punk/Goth in the '80s and these artistic influences have stayed with me; although a love of Chopin, chamber music, and Spanish guitar would seem to belie this. I am the managing editor for AllThingsGirl.com, assistant music editor at Blogcritics.org, staff writer for a gay men's magazine based in Edinburgh, and a freelance writer.
