Game du Jour Deals: February 26 through March 04

Game du Jour is a "One Deal a Day" website for casual PC games. Every day of the week, GameDuJour.com sells one downloadable game at a steep discount.

Every week Blogcritics Magazine will bring you a look of those games, so you know what to expect when the featured game gets its 24 hours in the spotlight.

We aim to publish reviews at least one day before the game goes on sale at GameDuJour.com, so please check back regularly. But we will admit, as much as we love casual games here at Blogcritics, we won't be able to get to every title.

Speedy Solitaire
Start your card playing engines! Based on the classic card game Spit (Speed), Speedy takes you on a whirlwind tour across five beautiful courses in hopes of ruling the race ways. Match cards that are either one higher or one lower than that in the discard pile as you race to empty your hand. Easy to learn, impossible to stop. Are you fast enough to take home the gold?

Space Renegades
Space Renegades is a arcade style vertical space shooter that will give you goose bumps! It also has several tracks of toe tapping original music to keep the action going throughout both games that are bundled in this space shooter package!

Totem Treasure 2
Pokie Magic is your source for the best pokies games anywhere. Real slot machines aren't this fun!

Totem bonuses abound and the mystical Golden Wolves may award you the biggest treasure of all - the Wampum Jackpot! Once again the totem smiles upon your wins - literally!

Tribal Trouble
Tribal Trouble is a fast paced 3D realtime strategy game where you must compete against your computer or other online players. Your job is to lead your somewhat clueless kinsmen (be it Vikings or Natives) to new discoveries and victories as the tribal clashes rage across a group of tropical and northern islands.

Smiles: Fortune Hunters!
Smiles: Fortune Hunters is a platform game with nail-biting action, brain-teasing puzzles, and, for those of you addicted to eye candy, four dazzling environments! Your task sounds simple: help either Smily or Smaly collect all of the treasure on each level without running into any bad guys. Of course, your enemies will do everything they can to keep you from running off with their gold!

Blast Miner
Writer: Kaonashi

Blast Miner screenshotAt first glance, Blast Miner seems like yet another Tetris copycat. You have puzzle pieces that fall downward one by one, and using the keyboard you move the pieces in place. In fact, one of their demo videos even pokes fun of themselves by using the Tetris theme. However, Blast Miner takes the beloved, familiar Russian puzzle and adds an explosive twist to it.

In Blast Miner, you use items like TNT, gasoline, and sparks to well, blow stuff up. For example, if you place gas cans on top of TNT and light a spark, KABOOM! Or if you hurl stone blocks towards a row of gas cans near some TNT, then KABLOOEY!
