<description>I talked with Arnold Brilhart who played alto-sax and clarinet with the California Ramblers from 1923-1926 This was in 1991 and He told me that the solos on the rambler recordings were always adlib. I have a large number of original Edison Diamond Disk recordings by the California Ramblers and in some cases three different takes of the same tune and the solos differ from take to take</description>
