Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade looks to pick up speed again after the new year with a number of titles.

Microsoft announced 10 titles by name that would be hitting the Marketplace beginning Feb. 10. The mentioned titles include (not a chronological order):

3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures - Sierra
Alien Hominid HD - The Behemoth
Band of Bugs - NinjaBee
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Konami
Catan - Microsoft
Eets: Chowdown - Klei
LUXOR 2 - MumboJumbo LLC
Paperboy - Midway
Root Beer Tapper - Midway
Worms - Team 17

The new games bring forth a mix of classic and original games, some of which mark firsts for the Xbox Live Arcade. Filling in some empty genres online, Worms will mark the Arcade's first turn-based strategy game, Catan will be the first board game release and 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures brings in the first outdoor sports game.

The 10 titles are "just a sample" of games joining the service this year. Overall, Xbox Live Arcade already has surpassed 20 million downloaded games and while new material may not always come weekly, Microsoft will continue to publicly release titles on Wednesdays. The company stated it would release further information on the above titles, as well as new ones, when their release dates draw near.
