DeNetria Champ's I Really Love You is powerful, motivating, and inspirational.  Her lyrical talent exposes her true love and passion for the Lord.   It was nice to know that the art of “old-time gospel” has not been lost and the representation of this genre is still going strong.   

DeNetria Champ’s I Really Love You takes you back to church with her soulful and emotional “DeNetria’s Church Medley” which leaves you wanting more and demanding an encore performance.  The smoothness and clarity of her voice sends you to a place of spiritual bliss while you listen to the heart-felt words of “I Really Love You”.   Her love for the Lord really gives this ballad an appreciation and closeness that no two people can share without HIS love.   

For my own personal Sunday composition listening pleasure, my favorites from  I Really Love You are “Go On Through It” (duet with Vanessa Bell Armstrong), “When God Gets Through”, and “Thank You For Your Love”.    “Go On Through It” is one of those breathtaking gospel tracks that make you feel you can conquer anything through the Lord.  This duet with Vanessa Bell Armstrong (a true gospel legend) is spectacular and phenomenal in rhythmical nature.  It is truly a match made in heaven.   “Thank You for Your Love” is a tribute to the awesome and unconditional love the Lord has for us.  DeNetria does not hesitate to show her appreciate through song while demonstrating her poetic vocal talent.    

DeNetria Champ’s I Really Love You has something for every gospel lover from praise to the drop-to-your- knees gospel ballads.  Her voice can be compared to Aretha Franklin and gospel diva Shirley Caesar however DeNetria Champ holds her own and develops her unique style and grace with I Really Love You.
