Sony Finally Spills PAL PlayStation 3 Info

Sony poked its head out recently to notify the European territory that it hasn't forgotten about releasing the PAL version of its new Playstation 3.

Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australia should expect to start waiting in line toward the end of March as the system will finally launch on March 23 at the price of 599 Euros (GBP 425, AUD 999.95, NZ 1,199.95). The solitary price comes with Sony's decision to launch the system with only the 60GB model, with the 20GB model to follow later this year "dependent on demand."

Those hungry for Sony's new box will have to vie for a piece of the one million PS3 units Sony will be making available during its launch period.

PAL players who are able to snag a system at launch will have a selection of more than 30 titles available from the word go (although, of course with any launch, it is possible delays could occur):
