Comics Review: DC Comics' 52 Week 26
Published January 16, 2007
Steel is still the story I am least interested in, with The Question and Renee Montoya’s journey being the most exciting to read. The Black Adam family drop Question and Montoya off at a secluded spot in the mountains, where we meet two of Question’s friends. One is Aristotle Rodor, and the other is Richard Dragon. Question says that Dragon (great name, by the way) taught The Question a thing or two, and now he will be teaching Renee as well. This is in the first few pages of this week’s 52, but I liked it so much that I would have wanted to read it at the end.
What does this mean for Renee Montoya? Will she be the new question? Will she become a full-fledged vigilante superhero? Will she and The Question get their own new series? I think for this scene alone I have to give this week of 52 a big round of applause. Christmas trees aside, I can’t see anything else wrong with this issue. I love having a weekly series, and the only thing that makes it better is that the book is actually worth reading four times a month.
The DC bio for this week is the history of Hawkman. Nothing really interests me about Hawkman, besides his fated tie to Hawkgirl. I haven’t read a comic starring Hawkman, so I don’t know what’s so interesting about him. Really, he seems about as appealing as Aquaman. I prefer Hawkgirl over him, and I think that has a lot to do with her asskickery on the Justice League Unlimited cartoon

Absolutely man, Hawkgirl kicks ass on Justice League Cartoon and is definitely a more interesting character than Hawkman.
Aquaman, since Peter David roughed him , he can pretty interesting. Too bad I keep seeing him as a Greenpeace posterboy, else I would have given him an honest and decent chance.
