I more meant that the safety, in this case would have taken too long to explain and slowed down the piece. And anyone reading this probably saw it and would know what I was talking about in my comment. The writing wasn't great, but rather than a game summary, it was more of a reaction piece from a fan's POV. I wanted to capture that. It was published in that spirit.

I used bitch because I think Romoo feels like one right about now; the lowest of the low. His team's bitch.

PS RJ, Glen? What the heck are you two doing up?

Col. Mustard calls Temple's writing ability "high school" --- now that is truly hilarious. Must be from Dallas or something...

Temple is actually a professional journalist, not some high school kid. And the touchdown/safety play actually was rather complicated...

How is Romo a bitch? Your writing skills indicate you're in high school, so you probaly think cursing on the Internet is cool.

And what is so confusing about the safety? Ball goes in end zone (two words by the way). Seattle player steps out of bounds, becoming ineligible as he attemtps to keep the ball in play. That's a safety.

REALLY? I was too focused watching Romo get closer and closer and closer to that TD line. Babineaux came out of nowhere.

This better get on Youtube or somewhere.

After a lsight breath, both teams stunk it up. Owens in his press conference was downright quiet and humble. Romo took the blame like he should have. Like I said, I don't dislike him and if there's some kind of survivor's guilt, let's hope it doesn't hit Seattle for a few months.

If you look at the replay, Martin Gramatica had a chance to block Babineaux, but he merely tried to flick him out of the way.

I didn't add the explanation of the safety play because I'm still not sure I understand it. That was !@#$%ing amazing, too.

I'm trying not to think about next week yet. I'm just wallowing in the win. I'm still higher than a spinning Shuttle piece. Fandom never felt so good. (Well, OK, maybe when they made the SuperBowl last year.
