Reality TV Casting Call: Need Etiquette Training? Learn Manners from TLC
Published December 05, 2006
Do you turn to Miss Manners for advice? Do you even know who Miss Manners is?
If not, TLC is looking for you!
Have you ever found yourself at a fancy dinner party, sweating like a Blue Collar comic as you desperately try to remember which fork is for the salad? Or felt like The Biggest Loser as you wonder whether to send a thank-you note to the potential new boss who just interviewed you?
If you're a guy or girl between the ages of 25 and 45, and think you could use some fine-tuning in the etiquette department, TLC's new primetime TV series can help.
If you have a special (and potentially awkward) event coming up that requires you to be at the top of your game — a job interview, a first date, meeting the in-laws, or entering the work force again — TLC wants to help transform you into a proper adult with three days of grueling training at Etiquette School.
If you think you have the chops to properly fold a napkin or set a formal table, send an e-mail explaining why you'd be right for the show — be sure to include a picture, pretty girls and boys! — to etiquettecasting@yahoo.com.
