Bad Religion to Play Warped Tour
Bad Religion have announced that they will headline next year's Warped Tour. It has been said that the group will use the tour to support the followup to its 2004 release, although no details about it have been given. No other information about the 2007 Warped Tour line up have been announced.
The Shins have announced that they will tour the States. The band has confirmed for dates for next month on the West Coast. The band will be playing with Snow Patrol, The Raconteurs, Gnarls Barkley and Modest Mouse. The Shins will play in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and La Jolla.
Heathrow to Run Trial Fingerprinting Program
Heathrow airport will be running a trial fingerprinting program. The program will be run with two flights, Emirates flight to Dubai and the Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong. The program is voluntary; participants will scan their passports and give a fingerprint that will be used for identity verification throughout their journey. The UK government has plans to bring in fingerprinting for all air passengers in an effort to tighten up security.
