TV Review: Rock Star: Supernova Week 5
Published August 03, 2006
Well, what can I say, she has a big voice. She had "lady-balls" to stand up to the challenge. I still am not feeling Supernova, ma chere, for you. Sorry.
Toby Rand, he's the hot guy from down-under, but his performance, well, not so hot. It was a copy-cat of Dilana, made more so since he followed her tonight. Toby needs to get original (not aboriginal) and put something out next week to make us want to really love him.
Josh Logan. I have been rather harsh in my assessments. This week Josh brought out my absolute favorite performance from him, better than any other he's done on Supernova. Just Brilliant. Great style and sound. But for Supernova, again I must say no, not so much. Josh has talent, just not the right talent for this band.
Jill Gioia, I was certain Jill was going to say "goodbye". I think she thought so too. Last week with her grinding on Gilby and getting his wife all riled up put Jill in the severe doghouse. Great save on elimination night. Jill displayed what a tough and savvy little gal she is and she makes me proud to be blonde. Rock on.
Dana Andrews. Baby girl says good-bye. I was indeed sad about that; Dana had so much to offer. Reality scope and perspective, she was too young for these guys. I will miss her.
Phil Ritchie — eliminated.
Jenny Galt — eliminated.
Chris Pierson — eliminated.
Matt Hoffer — eliminated.
And so it goes.
