New Mars Volta delayed
Mars Volta’s follow up to 2005's Frances the Mute will now be release on September 12th. The release date was pushed back from the original date of August 15th. The album will be titled Amputechture and it will have eight tracks.
Kazaa settles
File-sharing network Kazaa has come to settlements with the movie and music industries. Under the settlement Sharman Networks which owns Kazaa will pay more than $100 million to Warner Music, Sony BMG, EMI, and Universal Music. Kazaa will also be making a commitment to go legal.
Chris Cornell to perform new Bond theme
Chris Cornell from Audioslave will perform the main title of the upcoming James Bond film “Casino Royale”. Cornell also co-wrote the song “You Know My Name” with David Arnold who is the Bond composer. “Casino Royale” is due to open on November 17th. Audioslave has a new album due out on September 5th.
