Upheaval in Jacksonia: Michael Jackson Dumping Financial Advisers, Moving to Europe, Defending Himself in Santa Monica

Coincidentally or not, this week also sees a $3.8 million lawsuit against Jackson brought to court in Santa Monica. Former gay porn producer F. Marc Schaffel claims he is owed by Jackson for work on the never released 2002 charity single "What More Can I Give?" and two television documentaries produced to bolster Jackson's reputation after child molestation allegations surfaced, in addition to expenses and loans that were not repaid. Jury selection on the case begins today. Jackson is not expected to appear in the trial, but has videotaped two depositions for it in London.
Court documents filed on behalf of Schaffel accuse Jackson of being a "profligate" spender, and "a master of manipulating the people around him."
Jackson has filed a countersuit stating that Schaffel failed to pay costs from the record production, kept sculptures and paintings worth $250,000 belonging to the erstwhile King of Pop, and continued to represent himself as affiliated with the Jacko aura after their business arrangement ended.
It is possible lurid facts connected to Jackson's criminal trial last year may be revisited when Schaffel testifies about his role in attending to the family of the boy who claimed he was molested by Jackson. Schaffel was an unindicted co-conspirator in the case.
Schaffel was also the interviewer in the infamous Debbie Rowe (Jackson's ex-wife) videotape brought to light in last year's trial.
When asked her opinion of Schaffel at that trial, Rowe said, "I think [he's an] opportunistic vulture ... He just bragged about how he had taken advantage of an opportunity. He said he was going to make sure Michael's career was saved. He's like everybody else around Mr. Jackson. He wouldn't tell him everything.
"Obviously he's full of shit ... He was out to hurt Michael and in addition he would hurt my children," she concluded.

Jackson must have discovered that little boys in Bahrain aren't quite as freely available as he'd hoped they'd be. All those billowing jellabas create SUCH a wrong impression.

mike has ancestors in ireland. in nortern ireland i believe. jackson in quite a common name in ireland. ie Andrew Jacksons parents hailed from ireland so it makes sense that he find his white roots.
they will accept him nicely as irish people like myself are very friendly and generous. in addition he was proven innocent in a court of law. let him be for now. if he is actually guilty in a future case then try him and convict if necessary.

My affection for Michael Jackson is unlike any other love and support that I've shown for a celebrity in my lifetime. I truly hope that things improve for him in Ireland. He is really an amazing person and a person I admire. It's good that you are at least self aware! Unfortunately obession has a downside, blinding oneself to the truth! If Michael does the same, he will never escape the sad state that he's ended up in. Did anybody here that Michael Jackson has bought a castle in the quaint village of Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath. Its just 10 mins away from Mullingar where he was reportedly looking at property there in Irishtown. He also has stopped of in this castle numerous times secretly while taking a break from recording with Will-I-Am from the Black Eyed Peas in Grouse Lodge Studios, Moate. He has been bowling with his kids in Jumping Jacks in Tullamore and only last week was at the cinema in Mullingar to see The Santa Claus 3. Apparently he paid €4.3 million for it and plans to convert it to use as his Irish home...
