The Raconteurs to tour

The Raconteurs will tour this coming July and August in support of their new album Broken Boy Soldiers. They have announced 12 dates in the United States and Canada including stops in Vancouver, Minneapolis, Seattle and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Foo Fighters announce some acoustic dates

The Foo Fighters have announced seven dates for their upcoming acoustic tour. The tour will hit Seattle, Berkeley, San Diego, Boston, New York, Chicago, and Upper Darby, PA. The band will grow in size for the tour to include Petra Haden on violin and Rami Jaffee on keyboards among others. The band will also include, for the first time in nearly ten years, Pat Smear. More tour dates are expected to be added.

Dreamworks and BT strike online movie deal

The deal will bring Dreamworks films to the video-on-demand service provided by BT called BTVision. Dreamworks films such as Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit and War of the Worlds will be available along with the Freeview channels with no subscription necessary. BT is expected to launch the service in August.
