VH1 Announces Fall Plans

In an attempt to hijack my life more than it already has, VH1 has announced plans to expand their "Celebreality" programming through the Fall of 2006.

August will see a run of 10 new episodes of Flavor of Love. With any luck, Flav will find his "10." Perhaps his big clock scared women off. Personally, I always figured timepiece size was compensation of sorts.

Dysfunction be thy name and bring me the head of Reuben Kincaid! Folks are invited to rubberneck at the train wreck called Danny Bonaduce when Breaking Bonaduce airs eight new episodes for its second season in October. Will America's most dangerous redhead finally get his act together? There's only one way to find out. Well, aside from reading the police blotter.

Hogan Knows Best, Celebrity Fit Club, and My Fair Brady will also return to the VH1 schedule. Hogan is currently airing Season 2, Fit Club just completed its latest run (and proved that not everyone from Taxi ended up the Boss), and Brady will focus on the impending nuptials of Mr. Pork Chops & Applesauce and Miss Monotone Model.

Also look for more rockumentaries to show up along the way.

Is it just me or does anyone else miss the good old days when the VH in VH1 stood for "video hits" and catered to the "I'm too old for MTV BS" crowd? Yeah, I thought so. Of course, I'll still be tuning in.

Damn VH1's viral programming. They've infected us all.

Former Baywatch babe, Playboy centerfold, and stunt double for Abe Vigoda, Managing Editor of Blogcritics and member of the board of directors for BLUSD, Joanie juggles her love of words, music, photography, wildlife, and television with her greatest love -- her kids. In a perfect, non-Mitty-esque world, her days would be elastic, allowing her to accomplish everything on her "to do" list.

Is there any way us Americans can stop the Breaking Bonaduce episodes? I thought this foul program we have permanentley ended after one season. Bonaduce has made a living as being a professional fuck-up. And I am tired of seeing his face. I guess we can only hope that he takes his own life at the end of the program.
