Kids need to know what goes on in the world in order to survive. If you hide all of the bad stuff from them they will never know when it is sneaking up behind, until it is to late, of course. And yes, before you ask I have children, 5 of them and some are teenagers. The difference is, I know what my kids are doing online and I don't expect myspace to babysit them just so I have a fall guy when something bad happens.
