Victor,

While comparisons can be drawn to other films and the terrorist theme, in this movie it is the central plot and it is done the way that terrorism is happening in our day. It is not just satirical but almost prophetic in a very weird way. I think that you should reconsider and actually go watch it at the theater, the big screen would really make a difference here. The film is beautifully shot.

The authorities call the heroes terrorists in the Matrix movies, and also in a far greater masterpiece of film, Terry Gilliam's Brazil. Commentators have even compared the heroes of the original Star Wars ("Episode IV") to terrorists. Getting movie audiences to root for terrorism is not exactly a new achievement.

I'm still somewhat curious to see this movie, but not so much I can't wait for it to come out on video disc.

Very entertaining film -- and I hope people are giving the terrorist angle some thought, it's a well executed film. It is art, and Weaving's delivery is always spot-on, clear and diabolical in its own way.
