TV Review: The Colbert Report - Michael Smerconish

Yeah, so — I'm sorry. I slacked off at the end of last week and didn't put any reviews up but I was busy doing something important. Well not really, I was golfing, which is America's real pasttime. Three of the four major golf competitions happen in the United States, however only one big baseball tournament, the World Series, happens in the US and they call it America's pasttime. This doesn't seem fair. America is about underdogs coming up and winning, but who even remembers the last time the Detroit Tigers won a World Series? Baseball's opening day was earlier this week and many people are excited for the many steroid-induced home runs and fights ... but on to the report.
In a brand new segment called "Who's Honoring Me Now", Stephen Colbert talked about those giving him honor. But there was a "glaring omission," ME! I have been honoring Stephen for several weeks now. Bringing highlights of his show to several British people, I put my heart, soul, and golf time into these reviews, and I don't think it is too much to for him to answer just one of my questions. Some guy is trying to get him a Nobel Peace Prize though and I do believe the entire nation should help, this is a noble cause.
"Ethical Questions of Cloning" was in the spotlight again. It seems there is a farm that can clone famous race horses. I personally like the idea of cloning, if we "stay the course", which happened to be last evening's "Word," it will not be long before we could have really cool genetically altered children. You know, kids that actually do what they are told, and that you will always be proud of at the sporting events you choose to genetically alter them to enjoy. I am going to have a child, alter him to grow to be six feet tall and be a fast skater, then clone him 20 times and start my own professional hockey franchise.
