OPINION

The People's Court with Judge Marilyn Milian

Written by Ruthie
Published March 07, 2006

Judge Milian is probably the most popular judge on television. In her courtroom justice is fast, fair, and often fierce. She provides a compassionate voice for victims while verbally beating the bad guys. With humor, compassion, and a temper that can make grown men tremble, there is no doubt that Judge Milian owns the courtroom.

I've been to two tapings and can tell you the show is run like a regular courtroom. You hear Curt Chaplin speaking as each litigant enters. Douglas swears them in and then asks the audience to rise and Judge Milian enters. The cases begin, and if it weren't for the cameras you would think you were in a regular courtroom. It's case after case until lunch break. Before going to lunch, the judge comes out and greets the audience, answering questions and posing for photos with fans. This is repeated after the last case of the day.

What I found unusual is they give the judge bodyguards to protect her from fans, but have knowingly hired questionable people to work behind the scenes. They give the illusion of protecting her but still think nothing of putting in her in a potentially dangerous position backstage. I questioned some behind the scenes folks about this and they didn't care. Even when proof was discovered it was ignored.

So I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when a special item was sent to the judge from my dying mother and the judge never got it. Someone at the show stole it. I am sure of this since the item was included with something else that the judge received. So, my mother's item was intentionally removed. My mother replaced the item but was very disappointed since it wasn't the exact one she wanted for the judge. It was an angel she made herself, that was her last Christmas.

I find this whole situation odd, a thief working for a court show. And a court show not caring about the safety of their judge by sloppy hiring practices.

Judge Milian had the biggest ratings jump than any other TV judge this year. She has the power now to move on to something better, say a show with her name in the title. But Judge Milian remains loyal to The People's Court, with only the nicest things to say about everyone involved. She seems truly grateful for the opportunities they have given her. Maybe it's just me, but I think they need to start acting grateful to her for how far she has brought them.

Judge Marilyn Milian is married to Miami/Dade Circuit Court Judge John Schlesinger. They reside in Miami with their three daughters.

I like Judge Milian. Interesting that she is married to a Judge as well.

That's awful about the gift not making it to the judge when something else from the same package did. I admit that I'm not a regular view of The People's Court (simply don't usually have the tv on that time of day). Anytime I do happen to catch it, I find it interesting, touching, amusing, depending on the case. Judge Milian strikes me as one very smart cookie with a great heart to match.

#3 — March 8, 2006 @ 14:32PM — Ruthie

I've noticed a problem with my article and fixed it...I posted as Opinion and was changed somehow...must be a glitch in the system. Hopefully its be fixed.

#4 — March 8, 2006 @ 14:33PM — Ruthie

I guess I should preview in the comments too. I meant to say hopefully it's been fixed.

#5 — March 8, 2006 @ 22:28PM — Rob

Nice article, good to know the show is still going strong. Some bad shows on air during the day. LOL.

#11 — June 11, 2006 @ 02:19AM — Lance.

I heard Douglas played professional football. I was wondering when, and for who?

#12 — June 11, 2006 @ 09:03AM — Ruthie [URL]

Lance,
Douglas played for the patriots.
It looks like they have gone to snail mail for autograph requests for now...they are going on vacation soon for the summer..not sure but that could be why the email doesn't work for now..they have a site at:
peoplescourt.com
Write to:

It can take several months to hear back so hang in there.

#13 — June 30, 2006 @ 21:14PM — Marilyn Collins

Judge Marilyn is a pleasure to watch. She's a fair and compassionate Judge, friendly & funny (& beautiful) I love the banter between her & Douglas (expecially "Stick a fork in me, I am so done"). She gives both sides a chance to explain their case without looking down her nose at them. I hope she's on for many years to come.

#14 — July 5, 2006 @ 23:56PM — Marco

Judge Milian is hot. A friend of mine and I catch her everyday, sometimes twice a day and no other judge I've seen can match her talent. She is pretty clairvoyant, has intergrity and is really funny.

#15 — July 14, 2006 @ 15:12PM — Kathy

I really enjoy watching her in action. My byfriend and I talk about the cases she presides over.

#16 — July 17, 2006 @ 18:33PM — Steve

A big ratings booster would be a catfight between judge milian and judge hatchett.

#17 — August 29, 2006 @ 21:57PM — Janet Bowie

I got to spend a week with Judge Milian on a cruise! She was WONDERFUL and took a picture with me. She has a beautiful family. I told her I loved how "articulate" she is, but since I was nervous, I MIS-PRONOUNCED the word and said, "artic-a-late"of all things! I bet she was impressed with me, HA!!

#18 — September 5, 2006 @ 13:12PM — Bobby A

Dear Judge Milian: Just a short note to tell you that I really enjoy your show and wish you the best of luck with your career. The legal world needs more judges like you. Keep up with the good work. I'm no star struck teen but a 57 year old Jersey Boy that is also an Alcohol/Drug Counselor and a supervisor in a inner city social services agaency. I admire what you do and for also being compassionate and fair in rending your decisions. In closing wouls it be possible to get an autographed picture sent to me at:

Thank you so much.

Judge Marilyn is a pleasure to watch and very entertaining. Those that compare her with Judge Judy haven't spent much time watching her because her humor is totally different from Judge Judy's. I mean Judge Marilyn makes you lol. I can't understand why Judge Judy is replacing her at my favorite time and channel. What a loss for channel 2.

#20 — September 12, 2006 @ 14:30PM — donna

I am soooooooooooooo relieved that the new female "Judge Maria" is not REPLACING "Judge Marilyn". I watch as often as I can and Judge Milian is the best. Very smart, knowledgable, classy, attractive, genuine and fair, and she can Salsa. She is be someone I would want on my friend list.

#21 — September 14, 2006 @ 01:46AM — Steve

How about a catfight between Judge Marilyn and Judge Maria to determine the toughest latina Judge.

#22 — October 23, 2006 @ 18:30PM — Mike

How about we get/ask her to run for president in '08. I would certainly vote for her over - I think you know who...lol.
Thanks,
Mike

#23 — November 2, 2006 @ 17:15PM — Paul

Judge Maria Lopez sucks. Judge Marilyn is super entertaining though. She's probably the most attractive judge. She is the most entertaining as well. I agree that most people who consider Judge Judy the best, haven't really taken notice of Judge Marilyn Milian. To be honest, she is more entertaining. Judge Judy came out first. I think that may have something to do with it.

#24 — November 2, 2006 @ 17:22PM — Loulou

In regards to the article above, I think you could sue someone on the People's Court on the People's Court if someone from the People's Court stole it. I think it's pretty cool that Judge Marilyn takes pictures with everyone in the audience. Judge Mathis is a cool judge but when I went to his show, he didn't do this. I did however get o sit on Judge Mathis comfy chair after everyone left the courtroom.

#25 — November 14, 2006 @ 18:10PM — rrjustron

HI. I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS THAT I WOULD LIKE ANSWERED IF POSSIBLE.
FIRST, WHEN A PERSON IS PROVED A LIAR, WHY DOES HE/SHE NOT GET CHARGED WITH PURGERY?
SECOND, WHEN A PERSON SHOWS BLATENT DISRESPEST, WHY IS HE/SHE NOT CHARGED WITH CONTEMPT?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWER.

#26 — November 14, 2006 @ 18:15PM — Ruthie [URL]

Tv judges are mediators and don't have the authority to send anyone to jail...they have to be mediators because no one judge can be sworn in all fifty states at once.

Which is why they can't charge them with purjery or contempt...the most they can do is send them out or disregard their testimony.

#27 — November 17, 2006 @ 22:53PM — Rob

In response to the question up above, Judge Joe Brown has sent someone from his courtroom to jail before, for tossing a cup of water on someone else during a court case. These judge's DO have the authority to send litigants to jail, but probably won't because they know the litigants are trying to entertain sometimes. If they kept putting litigants in contempt of court, no one ewoudl say anything and that would probably take away from the entertainment so I think that's why they never do it. BY THE WAY, I'M NOT WATCHING COURT SHOWS ANYMORE. HAS ANYONE SEEN JUDGE MARIA LOPEZ. SHE SUCKS SO BAD I CAN'T WATCH ANYMORE. WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST LEAVE THE COURT SHOWS ALONE. IT WAS FINE WITH JUDGE JUDY, JUDGE MARILYN, AND THE REST OF THEM. THEY ARE REALLY MAKING SOME STUPID NEW COURT SHOWS AS OF LATE!!!

#28 — November 18, 2006 @ 10:07AM — Ruthie [URL]

No they can't jail anyone...they are legally mediators not judges...sounds like Judge Joe Brown is doing some fiction in his court room...they aren't sworn in judges anymore...they just play them on tv...the litigants sign a document saying they will allow the "judges" mediators to make the decision and be held by what they decide..meaning they can't appeal...though I know some have tried...so no please don't be fooled tv judges represent the nation and one of them told me they can't be sworn in in all fifty states so they are just mediators.

#29 — November 20, 2006 @ 00:51AM — Rob

Excuse me, but thinking back on that episode now, 'arrest her' is what Judge Joe Brown told his baliff during the case. I don't recall if he said 'put her in jail.' But I'm almost sure on that episode after the defendant threw some water on the plaintiff, he said, 'arrest her' and the baliff put her in handcuffs. I guess the baliff is entitled to arrest them and the judges can tell them to. Is this correct, Ruthie? And by the way, I think it was Judge Judy who made that comment on an episode about not being sworn in all fifty states, but you say one of the Judge's told you that like it was just you. Did you actually meet one of the judge's personally?

#30 — November 20, 2006 @ 01:07AM — Ruthie [URL]

What I've been told is no litigant on a court show can be arrested...unless a serious crime is committed in the court like a serious assault I'm sure they would call the local police and give them the tape as evidence...litigants have been given copies of the show for future cases...like someone admitting doing something it can be used against them in real court.

Yes I know one of the judges...she and her husband are judges and have been great about explaining how things work. Being a courtroom junkie I love learning anything I can about the justice system on and off tv.

#31 — November 20, 2006 @ 04:41AM — Laurie

To all:
Another "People's Court" and Judge Milian lover here! Her intuitive and intelligent decisions are amazing. I am frequently in awe of how quickly she can spot the liars and troublemakers.

And her compassion is second to none. I have started to write a couple of "for instances" but they got too long. Let's just go with majorily compassionate.

As to contempt charges, fraud, check kiteing, etc., I imagine there must be some jurisdictions that watch these judge shows and keep an eye on some of these people. (I hope!!!) JMHO

I do believe I remember a few times when Judge Milian said she would be sending transcripts to certain jurisdictions, especially when they had to do with the welfare of kids.

You rock, Judge Milian! I just wish I could see a tapeing in person (live way to far away). For now, I will have to hope you continue on "The People's Court" for many more years.

#32 — November 20, 2006 @ 13:44PM — Rob

Ruthie, I guess that woman was arrested. Tossing water on someone is considered an assault so I guess this entitled Judge Joe Brown to say that. But wow, if they can't be sent to jail or anything, I wonder how those Judge's are able to keep those litigants so well-behaved most of the time, especially when a litigant can tell he's about to lose. Anyway, you say you know a judge and her husband. That must be Judge Judy Sheindlin because her husband was a judge on the People's Court. I was wondering you would share the e-mail of judge's with me because I am also a courtroom junkie. Judge Judy is my fave, then Judge Marilyn Milian. They made some new one's two. Judge Alex and Judge Maria Lopez. Judge Alex is all right. Judge Maria Lopez is just stupid.

#33 — November 20, 2006 @ 14:32PM — Ruthie [URL]

No everyone has behaved themselves...but like anywhere there is violence the police can be called and the person arrested...so I'm sure the baliff that day detained the woman until the police arrived...and they had the incident on tape..that should keep most people on their best behavior.LOL

Sorry the judges I know don't have a public email address. But you can often email the tv judges through their official show sites.

#34 — November 21, 2006 @ 05:26AM — Rob

Well yea, I think I know why their so respectful. The Judge's can throw them out of the courtroom. That must be the way they are able to control the courtroom. The judge's can still have the baliff throw them out. But anyway, which judge is it that you know and how? I assume it's Judge Judy. Am I right? And by the way, I have tried e-mailing Judge Judy on her website and she never answers back. I ask questions like 'does she ever get irritated by any of the editing on her show? Do they ever edit her and it seems like she is saying something different or they kind of changed things up and does that bother her?' btu you never get answers. I dont' suppose you would know the answer to this or if you could go to the judge you know and ask her personally? Almost everyone on reality TV complains about this. "That isn't what I said. They made it look different from what it really was." And I can even sometimes tell their have been some editing on Judge Judy. For instance, everytime they go into a commercial, there's the sound of the audience going "aahhhhhh!!!" Everytime almost. And it sounds the exact same in every episode. So, there must be a lot of other editing stuff too.

#35 — November 21, 2006 @ 08:46AM — Ruthie [URL]

I'd rather not say who I know but no its not Judge Judy...the show is entertainment...and is edited as such...they can yell 'cut' and start over...but they don't have the final say in what is aired. They are the 'talent' and the execs are still the boss.

#36 — November 21, 2006 @ 13:10PM — Rob

well Ruthie, I would like to give you my e-mail so I could perhaps get information through your or whatnot. I have been watching corut shows for a very long time and I think it would be a treat for me if I got the whole inside scoop. I understand your not wanting to share the info out here. who would? So is it ok, eh? I'd even like to become a judge too, so I have a lot to learn from whomever you know so well. :)

#37 — November 21, 2006 @ 13:14PM — Rob

It's not Judge Marilyn Milian is it. Wow! That is pretty sweet if you have contact with her. She is like the prettiest, most entertaining Judge. She is one of my faves. I like the article and really would love for you to have my e-mail. I liked Marilyn Milian because she is so lively and exuberant. She has soooooooooo much energy. None of the judge's are as animated as her. She's fast, fair, and fierce.

#38 — November 21, 2006 @ 13:32PM — Ruthie

My email address is on my webite...but I never reveal anything about the people I know..but we can talk court shows if you want...the address to my personal sites is under my profile under the article.

#39 — November 21, 2006 @ 17:37PM — Rob

Cool! Be sure to watch People's Court everybody. Judge Marilyn is a sassy, lively, and gorgeous. Watch Judge Judy too, because she's a big old grump and the mother of court shows. Please do not watch Judge Maria Lopez. She is a People's Court/Judge Judy wannabe!

#40 — January 11, 2007 @ 09:34AM — Anonymous

Judge Milian sucks! Always has, always will.

#41 — January 15, 2007 @ 12:57PM — Seth

Please stop yelling sooooo much, were not deaf. there is notthing worst than a woman with a biggg
fat mouth, yelling all the time........

#42 — January 17, 2007 @ 11:38AM — Colee

I doubt if this will get posted on here, but I do NOT like Judge Milan and think she is the worst of the court judges! She is very rude to certain litigants and it is very obvious whenever I make an attempt to watch the People's Court. I rarely watch it because every time I attempt to watch, her rude and snide remarks (which are so NOT funny) always cause me to change the channel almost immediately!

#43 — January 17, 2007 @ 17:33PM — Ruthie

I don't mind comments of varying opinion...we thought out rebuttals are fine..what I find disturbing is the effort some put forth just to post insults. There is no accounting for lack of taste. Judge Milian is the best judge on television.

#44 — January 29, 2007 @ 17:49PM — Helen

You need to submit proof to your article about the incompetent behind-the-scenes workers. It is false to accuse them of something without actually give evidence to support your claim.

#45 — January 29, 2007 @ 18:41PM — Ruthie

Helen...it's a general article...the evidence I have was given to TPTB at the show...no need to air specific dirty laundry publically just to satisfy the curiosity of readers.

#46 — February 2, 2007 @ 16:03PM — Helen

That's fine...but then don't go off writing an article full of accusations that may eventually send you to "People's Court".

#47 — February 2, 2007 @ 16:16PM — Ruthie

Its not full of accusations..its full of facts that can be proven if needed...but its not needed because they have all been discussed with those in charge...its only an issue for you. Trust me articles don't get published on here easily. Our editors are very strict.

#48 — February 7, 2007 @ 17:12PM — Sharon

Ruthie...you need to get a lif...& quick.

#49 — February 7, 2007 @ 17:18PM — Ruthie

Sharon...I'm not the one with all the time in the world to surf the net and post nonsense to articles. I always thought blogcritics attracted readers with some class...apparently that isn't always the case.

#50 — April 4, 2007 @ 22:49PM — c3po

My goodness. As a lawyer, I watch these shows on TV just for entertainment. Obviously, they can't be strictly be based on actual statutory law because the defendants are all coming from different states. Judge Maria Lopez's show is extremely boring. Judge Judy has the best legal show, hand's down. HOWEVER, I find Judge Maria Lopez so incredibly gorgeous. I watch the show just to drink in her beauty, wishing she could somehow come through the tv onto my bed. And that voice? She'd keep me up and erect ALL night long in more ways than one. And goodness, Judge Milian is nice looking too, but there's someting about Judge Maria Lopez that drives me crazy. My ultimate fantasy is Judge Maria Lopez in a white satin negligee orally pleasing me like there's no tomorrow. O goodness! I gotta go ;->

#51 — May 3, 2007 @ 19:24PM — Jenny

I watch People's court all the time, and I love Judge Marilyn Milian's "show". She's entertaining, beautiful, fair, funny, and intelligent. I have a question, though, for any one out there who is a grammar buff about Judge Milian's use of the past and present tense. For example, she frequently questions a plaintiff like this: "So, you go to the defendant's house....and then you see..."? Shouldn't it be: "So, you went to the defendant's house...and then you saw..."? Maybe it's because of trying to recreate the scene in the present tense, but it's been bugging me. Let me know what you think.

Judge Judy is the rudest judge on the face of this
earth. I can't stand her.

Judge Maria Lopez sounds like she was a smoker. Her voice is awful.

I like judge brown, he holds his kool

the others r just show offs

#63 — September 7, 2007 @ 00:16AM — Jet

Love Judge Milian-she is the best & most entertaining court show on TV. I watch it every night at 2:05am that I can stay awake & I tape it the other times. This website needs updating & I would like to see pictures or a video of her with her family. I hope Judge Milian stays on TV for a very long time.

#64 — September 12, 2007 @ 07:57AM — Ed Tonelli

Judge Marilyn: I think you are the best judge on TV, I like the way that you rule, you are Fare, no nonsense and certainly the best looking judge on the tubes. Please have a long run

#65 — September 16, 2007 @ 20:01PM — Lisa

I am a devoted watcher of The People's Court. Though I have many mixed feelings about Judge Milian. She isn't always fair when a person has been given their chance to speak. She interupts a bit too much with a lot of information being unsaid. She also paints this picture for her viewers using her tired line "Watch This..." as if she is sooooo intuitive. Hello people, she has already read what the litigants have to say about their case before she even enters the room. She also raises her voice a lot at random times. My boyfriend & I will often ask each other, "Why is she yelling"? Oh well, keeps it interesting I guess. As for her appearance, I think she is a beautiful woman (when she isn't raising her voice like that)
I think her hair would be even more beautiful if it were darker.

#66 — September 21, 2007 @ 23:50PM — Mark & Sue T. [URL]

My husband Mark and I watch Judge Milian on the People's Court twice a day. My husband is in love with her. We both also think she is very fair and good at what she does. I'm going to request 2 autographed photos of Judge Milian. One for my husband, of course, and one for my dad who is also in love with her. He watches her everyday too. I hear it from two sides Marilyn. Keep up the good work!

#67 — September 27, 2007 @ 16:27PM — JohnnyA

Judge Milian is so hot! That husband of hers is one lucky man! Now, back to reality: She is totally fair, and goes by what "the law" states vs. her personal opinion (see Judge Judy). Judge Joe Brown is pretty good. Judge Mathis is great too, especially since he's from the streets, and can relate to any games that some people think they can slide by other judges.

Judge Maria Lopez is just plain unwatchable. I agree with others here that there are enough judge shows already. The new ones will all be third-rate versions of their predecessors..

Put a fork in me, I'm done..

#68 — October 17, 2007 @ 16:51PM — Ciarah

Dear Judge Marilyn Milian,
Hello, I am fourteen and my name is Ciarah Hilton. I was wondering if you could help me. I want to become a lawyer and work my way up to become a judge. Harvard or Yale is the collages that I want to go to, what is your opinion on these collages? Or do you have a better suggestion? If you could give me a few pointers or things that I can do to achieve my goals of becoming a lawyer and a judge. I would really appreciate it very much. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Ciarah Hilton

#69 — October 24, 2007 @ 16:46PM — Joey

Judge Milian is by far the best - I am hooked on her show, and don't even like the other 'court' shows at all. She's amazing.

Subject : Being Disrespectful

Ms. Milian,
I am a former State & County Correction officer also a former Drug Counselor at a Correctional facility. I have been in many courtroom with many Judges I have NEVER seen a Judge acted in the disrespectful manner LIKE YOU. You have even snatch paper out of Douglas hand because you have NO respect or control of your behavior for American. You asked a question then cut people off you yell at American ,you talk while other are talking. then you stomp off the bench like a two year old that is outrages behavior and a bad road Model for young people. You have made statement " I'm The Judge " That dosen't Make you a GOD you still have to give American respect. It's The People Court I know that my words will fall on death ear because you fill you are above everybody that comes into the courtrrom. I have a question for you , Do you think the men and woman that are given there lifes in present and pass wars should they get your respect? Then have the nerve to say to military personnel THANK YOU for your service . I don't think you know what you are saying thank you for.You need anger managerment. This is the same behavior that bad cops have they forget they serve the Community and start to think they can treat American anyway they want. THAT GUTLESS! Remember Amadou Diallo, Rodney King these people where beating and killed by white COP who could careless about America..You open your mouth and state how you have police officers in your family that always scare me because being a former law enforcrment officer I know the mentality of COPS. They have a those poeple mentality or them poeple mentality other then human. black and latino are the victim of that mentality. You sit of that bench because of the many Sacarfice that American have made and are making and should not be able to disrespect of that Pevilege Today I watch your show and you totally disrespect. This man he was talking you just talk over him like he wasn't even there. The airport was disrespectful and justabout stated that. You awarded that man a dollar. If it was me. I would have told you where to put that dollar. You need to be off the air you are disrespecting your position

sorry i had to take a breath, did i give you the impression i was done talking?....WHAT A SMARTASS THING TO SAY,listen to yourself sometime.--you always--EVERYTIME-cut people off in mid sentence,i cant stand the way you talk to people.at first i liked you, but after watching you more,i saw how you put people below you-and act like some kind of god.LET PEOPLE FINISH WHAT THEY ARE SAYING....THEN you may speak...respect works both ways...i see you as RACIST..ALL the nice things that people said about you.....they must be just like you,..you are a waste of my tv time,,i just want you OFF..FOR GOOD...singed...nothing personal

Judges have to interrupt people when their talking or a case would take days. Whinning and excuses are not EVIDENCE so they have to move it along. A good judge directs the courtroom.

Judge Marilyn, I have the utmost respect for you, you are a woman with a great deal of knowledge and alot of carisma. I watch your show faithfully and am in awe of you and your ability to see people for who they are.

I love Judge Millian. I watch her shows everyday. She is the hottest judge in America. People are commenting she is racist. She is not.
I have seen the plantiff or the defendant can get very snotty with the judge. I see her interrupt but sometimes the judge has heard enough to make her ruling. I see Judge Judy yell at someone to be quiet or else. Judge Judy is harsh and can be mean sometimes. You think Judge Millian is mean and yells alot?
I still watch Judge Judy but I prefer to watch Judge Millian.

I do love Judge Marilyn Milian she is funny, she is very nice and beautiful and she really listen to all the the plaintiff and Defense testimony .Shes the kind of judge that totally listen to everyone without prejudice. Not unlike judge JUDY she always use her position as a Judge and she always intimidate the witness, plaintiff and the defense. Ive seen a lot of Judge Judys judgement and 50% of his rule are not very good. judge judy never give a chance to to let the litigants to answer or to express their own opinion and she always yell at them and try to humiliate those people not unlike Judge Milian she really listen to all the litigants the witness, plaintiff and the defense they give her a chance to listen to them and her verdict is very good . I admire her so much very nice Judge.

Can someone tell me how one can obtain individual episodes of this show?

#86 — April 20, 2008 @ 08:07AM — Ruthie

You have to find a fan that tapes the show to get episodes..the production company doesn't offer them...who knows maybe one day.

I love judge marilyn milian she is the best judge ever i wish i could meet her!

#88 — May 6, 2008 @ 21:26PM — yolanda gonzales

dear judge:
i have no complaints w/u or the way u conduct urself on the bench. its Quirk (Kurt?) who waits outside of the court just to stir the pot. he conducts himself much like a little old lady who lives for the chisme'. i dont think that he conducts himself w/any self-respect.

Regarding the question of whether or not Judge Alex and Judge Marilyn are related - I read a quote from "Judge Alex" indicating they are "very good friends" - whatever that means.

#90 — June 19, 2008 @ 16:03PM — hawa

i love you

#91 — July 9, 2008 @ 03:11AM — april

I ended up on this site after I googled Judge Alex and Judge Marilyn, because I too feel that they have many of the same mannerisms! I was thinking they were married, but they are not. Being "very good friends" could explain it tho.

Love your Show. I tell co-workers everyday about each episode. Is there a website that I can send them to watch previous episodes?

#95 — July 17, 2008 @ 21:45PM — Jeannie

I was beginning to think it was me, but I guess not as so many other people have talked about what a loud mouth you are. You DO speak over other people and do not hear half of what the case is all about because you are so busy talking for them. This is not a drama you are trying out for so PLEASE tone it down a bit so people will have more respect for you
