That's about all I have for the show. Looking forward to what films come out this year as potential Oscar hopefuls.

Oh yeah, my favorite film of 2005 did not get any nominations, that being Sin City.

Just wanted to let you know that a rap song was awarded an Oscar before: Eminem's "Lose Yourself" three years ago. Though the song wasn't as derogatory, it was a shocking win because everyone thought U2's song for "Gangs of New York" was going to take it because the voters are older and might not really know who Eminem is.

And you didn't say what you thought was a bigger best picture upset than "Crash?" "Shakespeare in Love?" Nah.

I agree about the score catagory. It was a disgrace to see John Williams lose this to a 13 minute score of simplistic guitar music.

As i fan of film music, and after many undeserving scores taking home the prize in recent years, this was the one time where i actually lost complete faith in the Academy's voting for this catagory.

Also, apart from Crash winning best picture (worst film of the five nominees), i was impartial or happy with the rest of the winners.
