Microsoft’s mysterious Origami Project

Microsoft has announced that it is behind OrigamiProject.com. The site is a marketing Web site for a new portable computer that runs on Microsoft operating system Windows XP. The site is an unusual marketing tool for Microsoft, which is usually straightfoward in how it announces new products. The site states that more information on the computer will be available on March 9.


Leonard Cohen wins settlement

Leonard Cohen was granted a default judgment of $9 million against his former manager. The judgment was made in response to a civil suit that Cohen made last August against Kelley Lynch that alleged fraud, breaches of contract, fiduciary duty and negligence. Another defendent named in the suit, attorney Richard Westin, reached an out-of-court settlement last month.
