<description>this blog helps you make better sense of a tricky character to grasp; did the writers do it as a supplement to the show or is this really just an independent writer making it all up?  fits together with what we&#039;ve seen onscreen really well. makes him seem more well-rounded and logical.</description>

<description>I thought Goren was weird the first few times I watched the show. He grows on a person, though, and you come to realize that, for all the eccentricities, he&#039;s an amazingly well developed,and surprisingly understated character.  I&#039;ve been putting pieces together about him, his mother&#039;s illness, his take on the world, for a while now, but this Blogger &quot;gets him&quot; big time and all the clues are fitting together for me.</description>
