Jack punches out an FBI agent in that parking lot. ... Puts on his clothes.

No agents at door of Palmer's hotel. The brother Wayne comes up. You son of a bitch. you killed my brother." Jack says you know that wouldn't happen. Fills in some plot lines in case you missed it. Also says, if I killed your brother, i could have just killed you. Jack gives Wayne his gun as a sign of trust.

... scene ... Martha fills in some back story on why she knows David Palmer. ... Walt comes in as she and someone else are watching Palmer on TV. Asks her more about call.

"He doesn't believe me does he? He tihnks I'm making the whole thing up.

scene ...
back in hotel room after Chloe breaks in to his computer via IP address. It's the first chapter of his memoir, even though its been printed out a few times. Maybe there's some more information.

CTU ...
Edgar says use Chloe's access code, ... but we already know she's signed in. They find that out. They are able to find out she's tracking FBI and Secret Service. ... It looks pretty bad, no? They think she's being forced by Jack, not that she's part of it. CTU Director. Bill Buchanan makes the call to the hotel.

..break 8:24 ...

Commercial ... he's alive Palmer's alive. That kind of ruins the show thread doesn't it? Allstate sucks. Wait. commercial directors suck. (I'm with Allstate.)

We've got a lot of the same lines. This is the last season of 24, no doubt at all. That is, at least, with agent Jack Bauer in the central role. IE, he dies at the end of this season after "saving the world." Gets buried. Gets flowers. Get's all but forgotten next season. ...

... back.... "16 Transport Way" is an address found in the document that wasn't in the print out. Found seconds before Chloe detects more agents and Secret Service swarming in to building. Chloe finds exit where there's only one agent. He's leaving in FBI jacket and big bag. And secret identity sunglasses. Finally they cut access to Chloe's computer surfing. ....

Agent O' Brien and others pull guns and rank in the car park, telling Jack he's surrounded and to come out. Chloe peels out in white mini-working van. "Don't shoot we need them alive." ... Couldn't shoot tires? Chloe cuffed. Bauer's not here???? He is though somehow outside breaking car windows to a red FOrd Taurus. Boy is with him. That escape sure was easy, wasn't it. WEAK.

... 8:38:07 ... 8:42:00

"Frank" calls Diane. He wants to know where she is ... to still drop of Derek? I"m so sorry I got you involved in this? Diane didn't ask"Involved in what?

Chloe says he heard from assassins own dying statement. Chloe, with scowl in place refuses a direct order to protect Jack. "Bring her back to CTU." Does she get tortured?

Go Temple Go

My favorite show. The sarcasm and frivolity of the blow-by-blow of a show this fascinating and well-done turned me off after 5 or 6 entries, even though I tragically missed the first half-hour.

Contra our blogger, last season was completely persuasive and riveting.

I went and I'm spent: -) Recorded West Wing and Law and Order:CI.

If anyone wants me to refine this a little more, while keeping the live-blogging feel let me know. Temple

David, if you read other people's blow by blows before this one - yep I completey understand your point.

By the way, Last May 24, I called the 24 finale the worst episode ever

Fixed spelling of Aubrey to Audrey. Added Kenny-Kennedy line. Couldn't resist that one.

Monday's will be the regular days for the show.

Ehhh.. at least this was better than watching the bears lose :(.

24 tries (more than any other show I know of) to be technically accurate with their references to computers, but it sort of comes off goofy: their reference to redirecting network traffic, or the wireless AP's, or Chloe asking for that [intel?] mac's IP address. But at least they attempt it. Can't say that for any movies.

am So Jealous Temple -
I did get to watch but not do live updates. I didn't even do dead updates! I wanted to at least post on my own blog - but no, just didn't happen!

Anyway, thanks for this - fun. : )

I miss liking this program. I am kind of into this season, but I miss every other week because of having to cover council meetings.

PS. glad I waited to get 24 DVDs because they're like $10 bucks now for the whole season. I have to watch the first couple of seasons again and remind myself when the writers weren't spinning their wheels and believing the hype.
