Jett and Bernhard Host Halloween On QTN
Published October 27, 2005
Our seriously blond pal Jack E. Jett is, like, a big star now and everything. A member of Blogcritics, Jack E. contributed this highly amusing interview with Jason Priestly, and used to comment like a madman on the site before he got THE CALL back in August to host the Queer Edge With Jack E. Jett nightly talk show on the Q Television Network.
But now we know Jack E. has really arrived because Q just announced that he will be co-hosting the network's Halloween Extravaganza with the mad Sandra Bernhard, featuring live satellite coverage of the infamous holiday festivities in Greenwich Village (New York City), The Castro (San Francisco) and Santa Monica Boulevard (West Hollywood).
On Monday, October 31, beginning at 6:00 PM Pacific/9:00 PM Eastern, QTN subscribers will be able to tune in as Bernhard and Jett get the Halloween partying underway on the set of Queer Edge with Jack E. Jett. Bernhard and Jett will connect to on-the-scene correspondents positioned at the Halloween hot-spots in each city, providing viewers with candid access to the costumed crowds, famous parades and wild parties. Reichen Lehmkuhl, QTN's newest on-air talent, will be stationed in West Hollywood, giving viewers live, on-the-scene reports.
Bernhard declared, "I imagine that Jack E. Jett and I together will be superbly outrageous and there is no telling what will happen! Halloween is going to be one fabulous night for viewers watching Q Television, and I'm thrilled to be a part of such a groundbreaking network."
Jett similarly enthused, "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Sandra Bernhard. Her humor is perfect for the Queer Edge. In my mind, she is the best comedian out there today."
Bernhard will also guest co-host Queer Edge with Jack E. Jett during the entire week of October 31st through November 4th, which airs nightly at 9:30 PM Pacific/12:30 AM Eastern. Jett and company focus on pop culture and subculture with a cutting edge that is "dynamic, witty and downright zany." The show covers everything from arts and news to celebrities and internet subcultures from a "refreshing GLBT perspective." Jack E. Jett's Queer Edge encompasses all that is queer in the world of counter-culture, in an effort to show that the word "queer" is more that just a term for gays.

great to hear Anne. I've never seen it being that it requires subscription. I take it Jack E. does a good job? I can easily imagine it: he's a very funny guy with a skewed perspective.
Jack E. Jett is unadulteratedly hilarious. I can't wait to see the chemistry between Jack and Sandra. As for the subscription fee, I was hesitant at first. Now, let me tell you, it's worth every penny. Logo and Here got nothing on Q Television!

Whoa! Sandra Bernhard and Jack E. Jett! It's gonna be off the hook! I love Q Television!
