TV Review: Desperate Housewives Episode 205

Lynette's new boss is a rather tense woman. In an attempt to loosen her up, Lynette takes her to a bar. Apparently Nina met a man at the bar and came back to work the next day wearing the same clothes, but she sure was a lot less tense. However, now Nina wants Lynette to go out with her every night after work and threatens to take her off a big client if she "can't handle the extra hours." To get out of it, Lynette has to make Nina realize that she is competition. This is where dancing on the bar comes in. I think it worked.
Susan agrees to move to a new agency for a man who embezzled money from their current place of employment. Mike thinks it is a bad idea, but Susan believes in second chances. Susan figures out that Lonie isn't just in trouble with regards to work. His family has left him and he is in quite a bit of financial trouble. Susan finally decides she can't trust him and doesn't hand him the signed contract.
Carlos finally meets his new lawyer, David. He doesn't like the idea, suspecting David of sleeping with Gabrielle. Gabrielle and Carlos find themselves in a support group for couples dealing with incarceration. Gabrielle wants David to reassure Carlos that he is not sleeping with Gabrielle. To do so, David promises he won't touch Gabrielle as long as he is Carlos's lawyer, but the moment he is fired he will pursue her vigorously. Apparently that worked and Carlos wants to keep David.
The Wisteria Lane postman is mixing up mail and we fine Betty Applewhite in Edie's house checking out the news. This news has been on the TV in many scenes throughout the episode. Apparently an arrest has been made for the murder of Melanie Foster, putting Betty and her son in the clear for some crime. Are we getting closer to finding out some of their mysterious back-story? Yes, because we also meet the man in the basement. His name is Caleb and he is responsible for whatever happened to Melanie Foster.
The police release Rex's body and Bree wants to have a reburial ceremony. Bree opens up that Rex's death has really hit her. Bree is finally shown the note Rex wrote in the hospital. This pisses off Bree to the point she has his gravesite moved and tosses in her wedding ring with him.
The message? When those we depend on most leave, we go to amazing lengths to get them back.
